What do you like about 2007 Maserati Coupe?
I'm on my second Maserati coupe, despite having had a few teething problems with my first one, one of the early "hockey stick" cars, so obviously I like just about everything on the car, most of all its sense of exclusivity. Mmm... MY Maserati... I just love the sound of that!

How would you improve 2007 Maserati Coupe?
The MAJOR improvement, in my opinion, would be the option of an automatic transmission. I'm not a big fan of the cambiocorsa paddles, and find reversing the car... well, the less said the better.

2007 Maserati Coupe Review:
I bought one of the first right hand drive cars when I lived in the UK, and fell madly in love with it, despite its slightly lumpy styling when viewed from some angles (the one I saw every time I went into my garage...) The car was an automatic, a concession to City driving, but never felt any less a thoroughbred as it changed smoothly through the gears. After returning to the USA I bought a year old Coupe with manual gearbox after driving several cars with paddle shifters, something I found to be, well, simply horrid around town.

The Maserati Coupe is a true "gentleman's express" not some boy racer slot car-- and the paddle shifters spoil what should be another wise near perfect driving experience, at least for me. Since the bulk of my driving (about 4000 miles per year) is around town the manual gears do become tedious at times, and on the freeway, well, an automatic is as good as anything else.

Would I part with it? Well, yes, if I found a really clean, low mileage Spyder with manual transmission I'd be tempted. But then I'd also have to own a Quattroporte for short drives across town or long drives across the country. Hmmm... my Maseratis... now I really love the sound of that!
