What do you like about 2007 Lexus IS-Series?
More sporty feel than other Lexus cars in the price range. Good ergonomics and A/C controls, Bluetooth hands-free feature. Smooth and quiet engine compared to almost any other car.
How would you improve 2007 Lexus IS-Series?
Less road noise would be nice. Nearly all the sound heard inside is from tires on the road. Not real loud, but louder than the engine or wind noise. Maybe the higher profile 17" tires are quieter than the 18" sport tires. Longer tread life on the tires that come with the car. I would make memory seats and power tele/tilt steering wheel standard.
2007 Lexus IS-Series Review:
Overall impressions after four days is that it is an impressive car, almost as comfortable as the ES 350 or GS 300, but much more fun to drive. I am getting used to the GPS Nav system now, and can find my way through most of the menus. We looked at the BMW 325i, the Cadillac CTS, the Acura TL, and the Infinity G35, as well as the GS300 and ES350. All are fine cars, but the IS 350 had more performance than the others, almost as tight as the BMW, and quieter and smoother than any of the others. Sales reps for all but the Cadillac were very knowledgeable and professional, answering all questions directly without criticizing any of our other prospective cars or trying to hard sell us, often being very complimentary of the competition. No harassing phone calls, but always available for additional questions or another comparison drive.
