2007 Kia Rondo Review:
This is one of the nicest cars I have ever owned; it’s very roomy for all passengers (even in the back seat), and I like the driver seat height adjustment, being as I am such a short individual. The ride is nice and quiet, and even when passing, the engine slips smoothly into higher gear for ease of passing or getting on the highway. The cabin is bright and open, with very few blind spots. I especially like the console, which is jutted forward in the center, so everything is just at arm's length without moving your body. My vehicle also has the cruise functions on the steering wheel, which is nice on a trip. I also like that the cupholders are next to you instead of down near the floor. And you should see the storage - its everywhere! There is a large glove box, with a small area above the glove box. there are full storage compartments in all 4 doors, which round at one end to accommodate a water bottle. There are map holders behind each front seat. Then there are 2 compartments which open under the floor in the back which are more than ample for all of your usual "trunk" items. I did not get a 3rd row seat in my vehicle as I do not need it, but the large cargo capacity of the vehicle with the seats down can accommodate large item hauling. I brought home a full-size dishwasher in the box in the back of my Rondo, and there was still room to spare. I also want to mention that it feels like you are riding in a much larger vehicle when riding in a Rondo. The ride is very smooth and very quiet, even on the highway. It feels closer to a "luxury car" ride. The only downside to the Rondo is that it does not come equipped with a cargo area cover, and Kia does not currently offer one. If you want to keep the back from looking unsightly when things are in the back, you currently have to buy a cargo cover from an after-market supplier, and they are expensive. Other than that, I truly do love my new Rondo.
