Really like power, torque,and driveability. Steering electro mechanical is outstanding. Exterior design outstanding. Perfect symmetry. Interior of 2-dr is very good. Seat covering material is excellent. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit?
Power of 2007 is great but 170 hp is better. Following options should be made available for 2-dr: sunroof, SAT radio, leatherette interior, Xenon lights, and sport suspension. I realize that GTI has all these and more, but I like the torque, sound and driveability of the 5 cyl 2.5 liter engine. 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit Review:
I own a 2007 Rabbit 2-dr Shadow Blue / Anthracite 150 hp / 5 Speed Std / ESP / 16" Magny Cours wheels. I have put 55,000 miles in 16 months. No problems. Not only is it a city car, it is a long distance tourer. Have made several over 1000 mile trips in one day. I thought that I liked my 2002 VW Golf TDI but this Rabbit is superior in all aspects except for fuel economy. Fuel economy is ok for all the power available. Although I am a VW Nut, everything stated above is factual and not biased at all. |

rear wiper delay mode is not enough. needs a steady mode. rear-window defogger should not be on a timer, but should be on until it's turned off. glove compartment needs light. 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit Review:
It's so darn cute. After nine months, seeing the car still makes me smile. I knew I would buy a Rabbit, but I did not realize how much car I was buying, especially with the wondrous array of standard equipment. I had read that the pick-up was lacking, but I think the car has plenty of power. I also did not expect the interior to be as roomy as it is, or the trunk to be so large. While the interior is plain, it is attractive -- a paradox I still don't understand. The Rabbit is a lot of well-built car for the money. Fun to drive. |

I'm very impressed that the mileage has changed so little going from the odd way to the new EPA way. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit?
More power is always nice. The trim level designations are actually one thing that no one can argue that the imports do and have done better. They are pretty much the same across the line and make the buying process simpler. Kudos to Ford and Volkswagen (and any other maker for that matter) for simplifying any Volkswagen Rabbit parts of the car buying process. 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit Review:

I have only had my 2dr Rabbit for 2 weeks but I have fallen in love. The inside lights, dash etc. are like being in a cockpit. Very soothing feel. The car is quiet, stable and so very fun to drive. I love the feel of it. It is very comfortable for a small car. Surprising alot of room inside. |

I've driven 230,000 VW miles, on two TDI models. They were a great driving experience, save for the annoying and constant electrical gremlins that brought me back to the shop. I'm trying a gasser, and I'm impressed so far. Of particular note, the suspension seems much firmer, and the car handles a bit better than the Mark IVs did. I hope the interior trim, which has a bit more of a spartan feel than its predecessor, holds up better, without glove boxes and consoles snapping, and without the annoying wear to the rubberized coating to the interior grab areas. |

If you want a four door model,they charge you $1,000. per door extra over the 2door which is not practical.Really greedy,don't you think. Base price is competitive with Japanese models, but get some options,like doors and price gets up their making non competitive with Japanese models, which are all more reliable. Worried about VW always being at bottom with likes of Land Rover, Mercedes Isuzu etc. as most expensive to maintain and very unreliable vehicles. 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit Review:
