Improve the leaking issues and the rattling of the roof when cold. 2007 Volkswagen Eos Review:
this car is fun, great looking and handles very well. I have experienced plenty of leaking issues and the dealer seems un-equiped to correct the issue, although after the second try there was improvement. It is still not perfect. i am also surprized by the amount of rattling that occurs when the temp is below 40. I am very happy with the rest of the car and willing to put up with a little noise for the experience of the ride. |

Well I have a 2008 and it leaks a little and also moisture gets into the interior and in the cold it freezes INSIDE and in the wet it is damp inside |

I like the sunroof a lot when it's raining. I love the ease of raising & lowering the top. The DSG trans is smooth. The car goes down the road very well. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Volkswagen Eos?

It drives and handles like a dream. To much play or give in coming out of park. It rolls back like I am driving a shift. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Volkswagen Eos?
Get rid of the large moon roof. Ours rattles and we do experience drops of water at the seams. 2007 Volkswagen Eos Review:
Up to now, the car drives wonderfully. But we have had noise from the back of the car, as well as from a rattle in the large moon roof. Proving to be a challenge for our VW service to find and correct. While the car is enjoyable to drive. It is ruined by the constant rumbles and rattles coming from every area of this car. I would not recommend to anyone to buy a 2007. Wait for the 2008 and see if these problems are corrected!! |

Fun to drive but design flaws compel to say "stay away". Cons: How would you improve 2007 Volkswagen Eos?
Improve quality and overcome silly design flaws that can be VERY expensive or inconvenient. (See my review) 2007 Volkswagen Eos Review:
The EOS is fun, but I wouldn't repeat the mistake of buying it .
Some significant design flaws. For example: the "radiator support" comprises a 1/8" thick piece of plastic (!) that runs along the front of the undercarriage. The result? Hitting a curb at 3 mph caused $1400 worth of damage. Apparently, not only is the support exposed and weak, but to replace it one must take off the front end of the car.
Be aware, too, that the mpg, at least in my experience, is lower than claimed. The rear windows cannot be controlled from the rear. After one month, my EOS top already has developed a rattle and squeak. The windows mesh (too) tightly with the doors, so they "stick" a little when opening or closing. Maybe most important, VW's generally don't last as long without a lot of maintenance when compared to many, maybe most, of the other manufacturers.
Try the Volvo, Toyota, or Saab instead. |

Quick and powerful. I find it to be the "Clark Kent-Superman" of automobiles. Top up, my dark blue EOS is business-like and refined. Quiet of a luxury car. Top down and DSG engaged and it is a powerful, great handling sports coupe convertible and sexy as well. I just love driving this machine. Corners at 60-70mph just about as well as the new BMW coupe. The turbo 2T screeches out of the gate and holds its power all the way through. Honestly, the 3.2 6 cylinder is not as much fun to drive Cons: How would you improve 2007 Volkswagen Eos?
I think it is pretty close to perfect. At 20K less than the new BMW hardtop cabriolet and most of the features and handling, who can complain? |

Body style and interior. The rear seats reminded me of the Porsche I use to own. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Volkswagen Eos?
Make it easier for owners to work on. 2007 Volkswagen Eos Review:
The VW Eos is fast, I was surprised that the 2.0T with DSG had such passing power.
The radio needs improvement though would not play some MP3s fully.
A need not to blame the customer for leaks that happen because the windows stay down a little electronically until the driver/passenger close them.
So be careful that windows are up when you do a car wash or drive in the rain.
I don't want synthetic oil in my car that is a false belief and can wear out the engine faster.
The VW Eos is a great car for everyone. I recommend it.
