Overall I love my Toyota. The gas mileage has had me rethink keeping my Toyota or purchasing a new one. My gas mileage has dropped from 16.9 to 11.8 within a short time frame. My vehicle has 7,ooo miles on it. I will wait until Toyota has checked my vehicle after the 10,000 break-in period is over. In addition, the disk for the navigation system is outdated. In visiting with the dealership, this is the most current version. This system is very limited compared to Garmin. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Toyota Tundra?

Excellent handling and control. Enough room in the back seat to be comfertable without the truck being too large. Fantastic acceleration and torque. I've driven most of the trucks available and Tundra wins hands down. |

Lots of power even with the 4.7L engine. Pulls my 16' boat like it isn't there. Seats are comfortable to me. The body styling kind of grows on you. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Toyota Tundra?
Make stepbars, fender flares and doorstep protectors standard on the truck. 2007 Toyota Tundra Review:
Truck is fast, seems to pull a load ok and is comfortable to me. At 1500 miles, picked up a drive train vibration that can be felt in the gas pedal and shifter. Dealer balanced the tires, duh, I've driven cars with warped drive shafts and unbalanced tires before and I can unequivocally say that the tires ARE NOT the problem. Then dealers mechanic said I just wasted used to a transmission that shifted electronically. Doesn't have a problem shifting. Has a problem with vibration in the drive train. Overall very irritated with dealers response to what I see as a problem that may eventually cost me lots of money past just paying for the truck.
Incidentally, anyone else having this vibration problem? |

overall happy with purchace. great power and handling despite size. This is a big truck! I own the crew max and you could live in there! Havent had the opportunity to test the 4wd. There are all sorts of well thought-out conveniences everywhere. I would recomend a test drive if considering a new 1/2 ton pick-up. |

gas mileage on the 5.7 is 18 mpg overall. roomy bad ass looking truck. comfort better than most luxury cars. pulls major weight and you do not even feel it pulling anything. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Toyota Tundra?

I Like the overall power. I had a Ford F150 and it strugulled pulling my 6000lb Sea Ray boat.
I love the back space where I put my two boys and my mother in law....yes my mother in law and she doesn't complain because she can recline the back seats and fall asleep on long trips. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Toyota Tundra?
I would put the rear window control button on the passenger side door haddle. I plan on adding the rear view camera because the truck is very high and I can use this feature alot. 2007 Toyota Tundra Review:
I love my truck. As for gas milleage I can get 20-24 mile per gallon based on how I drive. I drive at 60-65 MPH and I travel about 20 miles to work every day. I get between 450-525 miles to a tank of gas. My family enjoys all the extra room and most of all the confort. |
