Toyota should state on the sticker that in extreme weather conditions the mpg can differ up to 30 mpg or more. Also, when trying to fill the gas tank it takes a long time as the gas pump clicks off every few cents.

2007 Toyota Prius Review:

The mpg is WAY overstated on the car sticker. It was listed as 51 mpg hwy and 60 in the city. We typically get 50 mpg hwy driving in the summer, 30-41 mpg in the winter. I drive 25 miles to work and maybe 10 miles is city driving. I am extremely disappointed in the less than stated, mpg by Toyota, that we are getting. We paid $26,000 to get good mpg and to help keep the environment cleaner.

There is a definite problem with the Traction Control system on the Prius.Will stall & NOT MOVE in very little snow and or ice!!!!....VERY DANGEROUS!!!!

Great on fuel love to drive feels like I have a electric factory producing energy as I drive find getting miles like 54 Mpg makes you a great driver like seeing a red light and taking foot off gas and coasting to it thereby makeing electric energy getting up to speed and driving at the speed without lead footing give greater miles car handles great love it

If I would drive up north would like the heater also to heat from electric motor as well as I beleive it gets hot too

VSB, airbags, mpg, spacious (folding seats allow for a good bit of storage ), rear camera, remote key system ( amazing how one won't like dealing with other cars that require key handling - very nice to have)

seating comfort (needs longer bottom cushion, better lumber adjustment), seat cloth material a bit cheesy, radio reception, a bit more torque, better mpg ( want a plug in - want to average 70-80 mpg per weeks worth of driving - getting 38-40 in winter, 46-49 summer )! , frame rigidity. would also like the car to be just a tad larger, both width and length - like 2 inches for each...

POOR HEADLIGHTS..THEY SHINE AT AN ANGLE WHICH LEAVES THE RIGHT SIDE WITH "ABSENT VIEW" WHEN TURNING..JUST CAN'T SEE THE EDGE OF THE ROAD OR DRIVEWAY IN THE DARKNESS!! BIG SAFETY ISSUE!!!!!!!

cushion or soften the edges on the arm rests better;
Onstar type service;
interior plastic that doesn't show every smudge;
eliminate night glow from from speedometer on the windshield; height adjustable seat; move steering whell closer to driver; move gear shifter up and away from knee space

Take some of the rattles and squeaks out of the dash. The front seat(s) should be electrically adjustable! Poor nav system (difficult to operate).

I bought my car in April 2006. I enjoy its responsiveness and the gas mileage (in the summer time). Gas mileage drops at least 10 mpg in cold weather! I think I might look closer at the Corolla next time!
