Ford Motor Co. had folks drive a Fusion to compare with Japanese cars.. the Ford was judged better in looks, handling, and performance, thats about all a car can do right? any way the Ford was the winner but none of the test drivers would buy one because it was AMERICAN.,, have the Japs done a job on us or what? |

I feel like I was duped by Consumer Distorts... i traded a Buick.. a 1996 model with over 200,000 miles.. even with 200k the Buick was more powerful., got better mgp..and was a better car.. a lesson learned, but not forgotten.. |

The whole package.. Its a great vehicle. Drives good, way above avg. power (V-6)33.7 GPM over road! Cons: How would you improve 2007 Toyota Camry?
A tighter and faster shifting transmission! 2007 Toyota Camry Review:
One of the better vehicle I have owned and I have owned a lot of cars. It is a great driving vehicle with good quiet ride. Sound system (JBL) is above avg. OEM rubber is o.k., for now however, looking to upgread soon.
I can not find anything that I do not like! Interior plastic is so, so! |

overall i think it is UGLY. however if toyota put their name on plastic mechanics wrenches consumer reports would say they were better than drop forged steel Craftsman tools. |

It's a beautiful car,runs great and is good on gas.I like all the storage compartments inside and the large glove box. I was happy to see it came with Michelin tires. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Toyota Camry?

I have tested the new Camry V6 for a week (babysitting it for a friend who moved to FL) and I'm a bit disapointed.... I have driven Camrys for the past 12 years. And I'm under the impression that the OLDER generations, especially the 1993-1996 years were better cars. |

Toyota is missing the boat on looks inside and out! This car is very bland for this day in age! A V6 engine costs
a near fortune, and you still end up with a bland car. It's not a "fun" car to drive either with very plain handling. 2007 Toyota Camry Review:
I test drove the Camry and was disappointed. It's totally overrated!
Why? No pick up since 4cyl. V6 is highly priced for a bland car. There are better looking and handling midsize sedan's out there! |

Absolutely nothing. This car almost killed me and I'm never going to own a Toyota product again. Toyota needs to admit that their 2007 Camry is a lemon! The transmission and computer problems make this a dangerous vehicle to drive. If you're smart, you'll not even consider this vehicle until Toyota admits that they have a problem. I replaced this vehicle after only owning it 6 months. Hesitation and transmission going into search for gears mode almost got me killed and my wife refused to drive the car or even ride in it because it was a hazard to her life. It's a KILLER CAR! Don't even consider a Camry if you're smart. After owning Toyota products exclusively for over 20 years, I've learned that they cannot be trusted. Toyota does not stand behind their product. I'll prevent as many people from buying Toyota as I can because of the problems they won't admit that the 2007 Camry has. Motor Trend Car of the Year. What a Farce!! It should be Motor Trend worst car of the Decade!!!! All of my other Toyotas were trouble free. This Camry is a killer!!! Cons: How would you improve 2007 Toyota Camry?
Admit that the transmission and computer drive by wire is defective and fix it before someone dies. When on an entrance ramp to the freeway, the transmission searches for gears and goes into neutral. Then Toyota says there's no problem with the vehicle. I won't waste my $$$ on another Toyota. They need to admit there is a problem. I've talked to many owners who have replaced their 2007 Camry's already because of this problem. Don't buy one!!!!! 2007 Toyota Camry Review:
The most undependable and life threatening vehicle I've ever owned. After 6 months, I was in a near accident because of this vehicle and had a heart problem magnified due to this vehicle. My Dr. told me that my health would improve when I disposed of the 2007 Camry. After I did that, I learned that he was right. If anyone is smart, DO NOT BUY A 2007 TOYOTA CAMRY!!! |

LE V6 powerful and good gas mileage.
Roomy interior.
Safety rating. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Toyota Camry?
LE V6 should include aluminum alloy wheels standard
LE V6 should come with full size spare.
Transmission has questionable performance - not sure if latest builds has fixed issue.
Not as nimble as Nissan Altima or Honda Accord.
VSC and Trac control not available as advertised - not coming out til mid year. |

nice handling on all roads. low road noise but could be better.

definitly put dimmer on center panel, glows too bright at night. Make way to fold rear seats more flat Quiet accellertion noise of 4 cyl engine. 2007 Toyota Camry Review:
I have had 2007 Camry 4 le. for 8 mo and 10,000 miles. Biggest dislike is blue center panel back lighting at night. It is impossible to dim them enough without turning theinstrument panel lights fully off.
At highway cruising speeds 4 cyl engine is not audible, but in accelleration it is much more noisy than my 2004 Camry with same basic engine was. I handles and corners very nice. The top of the dash panel is too light a shade of gray and reflects onto windhield too much.
Overall however a great car. It would take very little to correct the shorcomings I have mentioned. But the will to do so by Toyota
