Pros: What do you like about 2007 Suzuki SX4?
Really like the design, no nonsense interior, AWD,reasonable interior volume, price.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Suzuki SX4?
Desperately needs to have the 1.9L diesel engine from "Sedici" available in europe.
Current US 2.0L gas engine needs to have a 6 speed Manual and 5 speed auto available to improve average fuel economy and reduce top gear rev resulting in a quieter cabin.
Improve interior plastics with more easy touch materials.
Add a 2 tone layout on dash to instill a larger feeling and greater preception of quality.
Possibly use an enhanced Aerio 2.3 Engine in a "Sport+" option for bigger performance.
Have all Independant suspension, wishbone type would be a real step up and would improve the average ride quality, to excellent.

2007 Suzuki SX4 Review:
I really like this car and would love to have one.
However, fuel economy is rather average.
Honestly, considering the fact that Suzuki primarily makes cars, It has been something of a dissapointment that they havent pushed their products to have above average fuel economy?!
Awd on the SX4 will be especially useful in bad weather and the decent use of interior space will make for a practical and functional interior.
Overall performance will be decent, but there is room for improvement.
Honestly, an excellent car that could use a bit of polish that already has the makings to be one hell of a hit if some of these main issues are taken care of.
Get more MPG, and watch the competition squirm.
Please introduce the 1.9L Diesel, or punch it out to 2.0L for US models for average fuel economy of something in the neighborhood of 40-43 Mpg in mixed driving. The "sedici" made avalible in Europe has the 1.9L and gets 43 MPG mixed driving and has 120 HP! (a 2.0 Variant could have 135+HP, which is pretty comparable to the current gas 2.0 @ 143HP
Again I feel there is no excuse not to bring a diesel option to the US with fuel prices over $3.00 a gallon and climbing.
Id snap one up in a second.
As Im sure many would.
Overall, a really good car regardless of the quibbles.
People are looking for frugality and value, but also look for an area that stands out.
As it is, the SX4 is a jack of all trades kind of car.

2007 Suzuki SX4 Review:
The only thing that I found that is a recurring problem for my sx4 is that the drain for the ac keeps getting clogged - had it since Feb. 2011 and have already had it in the shop 2 times to unclog the ac drain.

WoW wanted it new but out of my retired price range.. Just bought one 3 years later. Glad I waited. The first one was a 5 spd manual. This one Auto..

Plenty of power for sensible driving.. Love the AWD in sand. Great looks inside and out.. I still get, wow! I like your car from a lot of people.

Only thing added is darkened windows..32,000 miles and running strong.. Comfort on long trips. Great, easy entrance and exit.. 16" wheels..

I can't really find anything wrong..
The HP is more than most 4cylinder cars.
The 11 gal tank is fine, never had a motorcycle that held that much gas.. Need to stop and stretch these old legs every 250 miles anyway.

2007 Suzuki SX4 Review:
I can only say I can't wait to find someplace I need to go, just so I can drive it.. It forces me to drive it like a sports car. It handles like one.

I will drive it in the mountains soon then I will know If I need to Bore and stroke it and add a Cam.. 10.5 compression ratio is already a good thing..

Fit and Finish is Great.

I drive a 5 speed. When parking, it is sometimes difficult to get the gear in reverse. I was told by the service department that I may need to wait a couple of seconds for the "syncro" to stop. I don't believe this because often I am starting from a parked position, so the "syncro" was not spinning in the forward rotation.

Needs a little bit more space for your stuff, like a small console.

Poor mileage, tank too small!
Needs 2.5 ltr. diesel and brighter interior - otherwise fun to drive!!
Hatch seal on bottom can rip when loading cargo.
Could use one more gear.

I have the SX4 Sport sedan. It has great handling, good looks and despite what the fuel ratings say ,It gets good gas mileage. I get highway mileage at 36 mpg. Not the 30 mpg the window sticker says. It has great features with power everything, Kicking stereo system and better interior quality than most competitors.

The Sx4 sport has plenty of power but if Suzuki made a turbo charged model this car could be a screamer.

2007 Suzuki SX4 Review:
This little car makes driving fun. I have a manual 5 speed . It has a very good clutch feel and positive shifter. It handles great and has plenty of power too. I test drove several of its competitors and for the features and the money spent this car stands well above the competition. Who does the gas mileage ratings anyway? Their ratings say far less than this little car is capable of. I love my SX4 Sport.

I like its ride and handling. It's roomy interior. I do not find it lacking in horsepower, but I have always driven small cars.

we bought the sx4 for the allwheel drive. but its not all wheel drive even in lock postion its still two wheel drive 1 front tire an 1 rear tire this car is crappy in the snow.
