a little more "pickup", needed to buy (gave my 2000 Subaru to my son) reasonable price on warrenteed preowned dealer car. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Subaru Forester?
Little hiding places in my 2000 were MUCH better. No place to put things within reach of driver. with both of them together the 2000 still looks better... 2007 Subaru Forester Review:
I actually like my 2000 better..it has better styling...(looked at 2008 and 2009 before I bought 2007 preowned) Didn't like the styling on the newer ones.
2000 had little pockets in the armrests and also more spaces to lay things down within reach of the driver. |

i like the way it handles and its off road abilities. east to see out of and had good gas milage Cons: How would you improve 2007 Subaru Forester?
I would boost the 2.5x models horsepower up bit more. definitely need to get rid of cup holders in middle console. i like more storage space compartments. needs to look more like an suv instead of station wagon. I also wish it had a 4 wheel drive lock button 2007 Subaru Forester Review:
I really do like my forrester but with a few little improvements in 2009 it could be the best small suv on the road and off. |

i like the improved ground clearance and easy to see out of. does great in the snow and mud and im impressed with gas milage Cons: How would you improve 2007 Subaru Forester?
i would definitely get rid of the cup holders in the center console. need the storage space there. would make base engine model a bit more powerful and definitely tint the back windows to keep sun glare out. 2007 Subaru Forester Review:
overall i really enjoy my forrester but i do wish subaru could make the forrester look more like a suv instead of station wagon. make some small improvements and anyone would agree this could be the best small suv on the road and off. |

SEAT COMFORT, SEAT COMFORT, SEAT COMFORT!!! 2007 Subaru Forester Review:
The recent trade of my beloved 2003 Pontiac Vibe AWD for a 2007 Forester has resulted in total disappointment. The Subaru is fine for running around town or for short trips, but besides that, watch your back!!! Literally. The seat position is horrible and results in a constant twist @ the waist. The seats themselves are hard w/ no lumbar support. After about 20 miles, my back is sore, my hips ache, and my butt is begging for a break. I drive approximately 700 miles/week, so one can imagine how fond I am of the car. With the exception of the seating, my only other complaint is body roll. It definately isn't the responsive car my Vibe was. My suggestions to a potential buyer who is looking for an AWD vehicle that gets good gas mileage and is going to be used for long distance travel? Avoid the Forester. There are still a few AWD Vibes on dealer lots (the model was discontinued for 2007), or perhaps a Ford Escape Hybrid. Good luck shopping. |

Love the new front seats as compared to 2001. Very smooth ride. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Subaru Forester?
Hate the black dashboard. Don't like the sunroof on the upgraded models, so settled for the basic. Limited color selection. Want the 2001 green back in a richer tone. Would like the door controls slanted again with covers on pockets as in the 2001 model 2007 Subaru Forester Review:
Gave the 2001 to our daughter for a safe car to drive. Loved it so much we wanted another just like it. Wanted a darker color interior to hide dirt, as we use our car hard, but all that was available was black. Here in the South that's just not an option so settled on champagne with beige interior. PLEASE, more options! |

It is noisy - especially on the freeway. I wish it was quieter. I don't care for the way the keyless lock works. I keep forgetting to lock my doors. |

the front seats aren't very deep and i'd like to see a better sound system . . . then again, maybe if i spent some time adjusting both i might be happier |

The L. L. Bean version has a wonderful cargo area--large, rubberized, and load-leveling.
I also like the Sirius radio, but miss Weatherband in my area of the country. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Subaru Forester?
More leg room in the back. No more two-tone paint for the L. L. Bean model. No micro-fiber inserts on the leather upholstery. 2007 Subaru Forester Review:
This is my 9th Subaru. I almost bought a Honda-CRV, but the poor visibility with the Honda rear window and excessive costs for what is standard on the Forester brought me to my senses. I saved money and got more extras. |
