Love my car - it is an LL Bean edition.

Body not as solid as my 2001 Outback LL Bean.

a little more "pickup", needed to buy (gave my 2000 Subaru to my son) reasonable price on warrenteed preowned dealer car.

Little hiding places in my 2000 were MUCH better. No place to put things within reach of driver. with both of them together the 2000 still looks better...

2007 Subaru Forester Review:
I actually like my 2000 better..it has better styling...(looked at 2008 and 2009 before I bought 2007 preowned) Didn't like the styling on the newer ones.
2000 had little pockets in the armrests and also more spaces to lay things down within reach of the driver.

I have an LL Bean edition - LOVE IT! The exterior is very stylish and the handling and safety really impress me.

MORE INTERIOR COLOR CHOICES! I want another color besides LIGHT BEIGE - stains too easily.

I would boost the 2.5x models horsepower up bit more. definitely need to get rid of cup holders in middle console. i like more storage space compartments. needs to look more like an suv instead of station wagon. I also wish it had a 4 wheel drive lock button

i like the improved ground clearance and easy to see out of. does great in the snow and mud and im impressed with gas milage

i would definitely get rid of the cup holders in the center console. need the storage space there. would make base engine model a bit more powerful and definitely tint the back windows to keep sun glare out.

overall i really enjoy my forrester but i do wish subaru could make the forrester look more like a suv instead of station wagon. make some small improvements and anyone would agree this could be the best small suv on the road and off.

2007 Subaru Forester Review:
The recent trade of my beloved 2003 Pontiac Vibe AWD for a 2007 Forester has resulted in total disappointment. The Subaru is fine for running around town or for short trips, but besides that, watch your back!!! Literally. The seat position is horrible and results in a constant twist @ the waist. The seats themselves are hard w/ no lumbar support. After about 20 miles, my back is sore, my hips ache, and my butt is begging for a break. I drive approximately 700 miles/week, so one can imagine how fond I am of the car. With the exception of the seating, my only other complaint is body roll. It definately isn't the responsive car my Vibe was. My suggestions to a potential buyer who is looking for an AWD vehicle that gets good gas mileage and is going to be used for long distance travel? Avoid the Forester. There are still a few AWD Vibes on dealer lots (the model was discontinued for 2007), or perhaps a Ford Escape Hybrid. Good luck shopping.

Dealership experience: Roto of Arlington Hgts. All-wheel drive w/ boxer engine.

Make it longer: More room in rear seat and more storage capacity. Add sice curtain air bags.
