I like most everything about my Saturn Vue except for two big points below. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Saturn VUE?
My biggest complaint and the reason that I am losing enthusiasm is the amount of road noise. It is almost as though there is no barrier between the inside of the car and the outside. Also, in the second year of ownership, my heating system seems to be less than optimal. My heated seats also ceased to function! |

The benefits of a SUV and but the performance of a car. Easy to navigate around corners, into stalls and the comfort of a lower riding vehicle. The vehicle is beautiful inside and out, even has room to fit 5 people comfortably with room to spare. The back end is large enough for groceries, tools, over sized luggage and more. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Saturn VUE?
Up until January 2nd of 2009 I would have said nothing at all; but at 39,693 miles the wiring and cradle surrounding and holding my stick shift gave way leaving the vehicle immobile for an entire week. Despite my having a power train warranty that states it covers "anything that makes the vehicle move" I was denied a warranty repair and charged $843 for parts and labor. This decision was made when Saturn could not find the reasoning behind this malfunction and in turn claimed it was "driver" error. Although I consulted a professional (that was not associated with Saturn) that told me neither racing and/or off road expeditions could not have caused this malfunction, Saturn of America continued to deny my request for warranty. 2007 Saturn VUE Review:
Consider why GM is requesting a bail out from the federal government while foreign manufacturers continue to prosper. GM builds "nice" cars, but they are faulty and GM refuses to back them up. Yeah the car is nice and fairly inexpensive, but it's worth going Japanese to avoid the 2 weeks of hell I went through with no assistance from GM. At least you have the comfort of knowing that Honda, Accord, Lexus and Toyota build reliable cars and will always back their customer and their product!!! |

I LOVE MY 2007 VUE! I bought myself a 2004 Mercury Mountianeer as a graduation present to myself for going back to school and getting my teaching degree at age 37. Needless to say three years, 38,000 miles and seventeen visits to the dealer, I traded "up" for my view and have been happy as can be. Saturn has me for life! The get up and go. Very satified with the gas mileage so far. Have 2007 V6 automatic, FWD. Nice SUV with lots of room inside. Great handleing in traffic. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Saturn VUE?
Better seating and move the cup holders about 4 inches forward. Window controls should be on drivers door instead of center console. This is very inconvent. Radio not the greatest. Seems like all I do is adjust the volume all the time. Gas filler cap location. Who was the engineer that decided to put the filler neck on the right side of the vehicle. Doesn't he know his left from right????? Little odd I must say. 2007 Saturn VUE Review:
Have over 5600 miles on my 2007 Suv now. Went on trip this past weekend and averaged 27 to 29 MPG driving at 62 to 64 MPH using cruise control. Try driving at this speed and see how much better gas mileage can be. This is driving in Florida. Very happy with unit so far. |

Better and softer front seats. Window controls should be on drivers door for easy operations instead of being on both side of the shift lever.
Radio is not the greatest. It seems like I have to keep turning it up to hear anything. 2007 Saturn VUE Review:
Purchased a new 2007 Vue V-6, FWD. Gas mileage wasn't very good when I first purched the unit. I now have over 4,000 mile on it and I am getting 17 to 19 MPG around town and 25 to 28 on Highway. Drive at about 63 to 65 MPH on open highway to get those figure stated above. If you put the peddle to the metal as they say you will not get close the the MPG that I am getting. So slow down and you will see the better gas mileage. Very happy with the vehicle so far. |

So far, everything! Love the pickup on the 6 cylinder. Great tow car! We had 2005 Vue and are very happy with the redesign. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Saturn VUE?
The owners manual isn't great.

Turbo option? 2007 Saturn VUE Review:
I have an 07 Vue Redline package. This is the first Saturn purchase for me and all I can say is WOW! The Honda V6 powerplant is a brut in this vehicle. Although the redline package is not recommended for towing, this would have plenty of juice to haul whatever you needed. The interior for the Redline includes leather/suede seats which are not only slick looking, but also quite supportive and comfortable on longer drives. The interior is clean, simply stated but not boring. The instrument cluster is well laid out and the backlit silver/white guage plates are very striking. 6 way power drivers seat is nice, although the manual lumbar support screams of penny pinching. Heated seats are nice for Wisconsin, but in Georgia, a waste of money. IMHO, this is one of, if not the best vehicle in its class when looking at price to performance. |

MORE RESPONSIVE FROM 0 - 60 THAN MY 2000 LS1 WHICH HAS THE SAME DRIVE TRAIN. QUALITY OF FIT AND FINISH IS EXCEPTIONAL WHEN COMPARED TO OTHER VECHILES IN THIS CLASS. MY 6'2" SON HAS PLENTY OF LEG AND HEAD ROOM IN THE REAR SEAT, IN FACT HE WOULD RATHER RIDE IN THE VUE THAN IN MY QUAD CAB PICKUP. ACCESSORY CONTROLS ARE WELL PLACED AND EASY TO USE. I have the AWD V-6 and like the performance & reponsiveness of the engine along with the ride. So far mileage calculated on all fillups has been over 20 mpg. Handling is better than average. The interior is very nice but I bought the optional leather interior, the standard cloth is a little spartan looking hence the reason we opted for the leather, got the heated seats too, nice. I like the overall styling & am very happy they changed to the color keyed bumpers this year. That along with the chrome package makes it's appearance very appealing. This is my 1st Vue & I am really pleased with it. My wife has owned (2) Saturns and is a current owner and she has been very pleased with the performance & service. |
