Incredible car for the money, not that it's cheap at $70,000 after few options. I also own a 993, Cayman S no doubt outruns it on tight tracks and through twisty turns. Mid engine setup gives a magical balance. |

The Cayman is a fantastic handling car and the brake feel is flawless. Even though it has less power I readily put the 911 Carreras to sleep on the track and for many fewer $$$. This is not a hardtop Boxster. I had slight reservation when I bought it and now I couldn't be happier with the purchase. |

My 2nd car is a new Corvette Roadster with a supercharger. Both have hanging balance but the P is fun to drive. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Porsche Cayman S?
More power. I traded in a brand new EVO 9SE & with 8 less horsepower the EVO would beat the Porsche. Don't buy the EVO (bad clutch), the Porsche is better. 2007 Porsche Cayman S Review:

This is probably one of the best balanced vehisles I've ever driven in it's class. It doesn't roll, is extremely stabile and very fun to drive. I drive the 6 speed manual with the PSM and PCM. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Porsche Cayman S?
May be a 350 HPS engine would satisfy the requests from so many track riders out there. |

Cayman S 2007
Until my 2007 purchase of the Cayman S,
The fastest car was the Turbo, but was the hardest to drive. Best handling was the 1974 Carrera. But I had over 20 hrs. in the suspension. The Mid Engine of the Cayman s makes all the difference. Styled after the 904 fiberglass Porsche one can really see the rear quarter panels and how they resemble the 904 and the spyder. I love this car! |
