2007 Porsche 911 GT3

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Porsche 911 GT3?
It's as close to a race car that is street legal that you can buy for under $125,000.
The ceramic brakes are a worth while option if you see any track time.
On the highway it get's between 24 and 27 mpg which is most excellent for a high powered sports car.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Porsche 911 GT3?
Yes, the clearance of the front air dam makes it hard not to scrape at least once a day.
For high speed track days I added the front splitter from the 2008/9 GT3RS and that helps stabilize the front end when you get above 175 mph.
I would make the PASM more distictive as even on the soft setting, the ride around town bounces you around a lot (I just installed the Bilstein PSS10s so will wee what that is like after the snows are gone.
Also, unless all your days are on the track I would ditch the "Cup" tires as they are not very usefull in the real world.

2007 Porsche 911 GT3 Review:
This is by far the best 911 that Porsche has made and for the price that the GT#RSs are getting this is a much better bargain. I have taken it on a 4000 mile road trip and it didn't even hiccup and the highway ride is reasonable. My switch to Michelen P2 tires and then to Nitos both gave reasonable grip at the track and a real world ride even in the rain. If you want the ultimate 911 (excluding the really pricy new GT2) this is it.

This is one model that doesn't need much modification. It has a highly developed engine and the Ceramic brake option is great. About the only change that I might make is a switch to the new Bilstein shocks that were developed for the PASM system

It is a real driving car!! It is a car suitable for the track but still comfortable on the highway. This is the most beautiful body of any of the current 911 series.
