| Pros: What do you like about 2007 Pontiac G6?
Sleak exterior design sets this car apart from many other midsize cars. The lines are surprizingly simple, especially coming from Pontiac. The car handles decently, and acceleration feels as if more horses are under the hood. Most of the driver's controls are easy to reach, and seats are comfortable enough for short day trips. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Pontiac G6?
Two main factors prevent G6 from winning Camry or Accord buyers over. First, interior plastic needs significant improvement. Simply put, G6 feels cheap when you sit in it. A car is a product that drivers touch and feel everyday, and Pontiac failed miserably on areas where the car owners will experience their cars constantly. Pontiac designers need to compare G6 with Camry side by side and make G6's interior better. Second, gas mileage was significantly below expectation. It is difficult to believe that anybody can drive G6 to get over 30 miles per gallon. Maybe on a downhill driving with gear in nuetral might be the only way. 2007 Pontiac G6 Review:
G6 is a reasonably good effort from Pontiac, and the car's clean exterior look shows their effort. But they still have far to go in order to win over Camry or Accord buyers. Pontiac designers and engineers have to understand that their cars have to be better than their competitors' in order to win market share. Other than the exterior execution, G6 lacks in almost everything else. It is not a bad car by any means, but we are not in the 80's anymore. Quality of cars have significantly improved since then, but Pontiac's interior and performance have not, especially compared to its competitors. |

Hard at first to get used to driving it because it's hard to see behind you from the left drivers side, it's a very big blind spot. Also looking out of the front windshield the metal frame is too thick on both sides of the windshield causing some what of a blind spot, obstructing some of your view from left or right.
I also need to use high grade fuel because of a knocking in the engine.
Also since the car had 5000 miles on it, a check fuel cap light and eventually a check engine light continue to come on, it comes in cycles, dealer does not have an answer for this except to make sure the gas cap is very tightly screwed on. This does not keep the light from coming on. |

I love the sporty look on the car and the trunk and rear seats room. I haven't yet had any problems with my car and I bought it used with 28000 miles on it. I've had it for about 3 months and it runs great. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Pontiac G6?
I would have really like an aux on the stereo. The front bumper could have been a little higher it hits in every ditch. The trunk is hard to open and it would have been nice if the passenger seat would have had power seats. The car is giving me 16 miles per gallon in the city, I thought it would be more. 2007 Pontiac G6 Review:

I bought this car brand new in dec. 06 with 4 miles on it. and i have had it at the pontiac SHOP 5 times since i bought it. They had to replace the compressor twice, 2 belts, and now it's nocking. it is the biggest LEMON i have EVER had! and it holds NONONO value. i am trying to trade it in now and it's only worth $7,000 they say. it is 2 years old with 28,000 miles , never been wrecked and has excellent interior and exterior! 2007 Pontiac G6 Review:
they need to come out of pocket at the pontiac dealership and either rebuild the G6 or dont make them anymore!!!!!!! |

Bought an 07 G6 Value Leader - the base model. I am very happy. With rebates, the car cost $15,500 - that's a lot of car for the money!
I think GM has made great strides...I've rented many GM vehicles in the past and they always had TERRIBLE seats. The seats in this G6 are world class, the BEST I've EVER sat in - they fit me perfectly !
Time will tell if the reliability is there.
Great stereo, quite ride. Power steering is great. Haven't pushed the car yet, still breaking it in, but so far I am very impressed! (I've owned all the Japanese and German brands, including Audi.)
I think GM and Ford deserve a good look and more Americans should really consider helping GM and Ford at this time - they really ARE trying to get to world class - and they are nearly there! Think about it - each one point of market share for GM and Ford is worth lot's of great paying jobs for Americans - and the profits STAY HERE! Let's not throw away such an important industry...think about it next time you here there are another 20,000 layoffs - where are all those people going to find good jobs?
OK - anyway - the G6 is a VERY GOOOODDD car - it stands on many merits! Check it out. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Pontiac G6?
A few small beefs:
1) The instruments sometimes have a strange glare during the day.
2) Trunk is somewhat hard to open from the outside.
3) The suspension is a little hard sometimes, but is "sporty" so that's the trade-off. |

The G6 is sporty looking, especially for the younger generation. I like how the inside of the car is outlined in chrome and the interior lights are red. As far as the interior of the car, the cloth seats seem to attract everything and hard to keep clean. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Pontiac G6?
I would definatley improve the steering column. Since I've owned the car, I've had a popping sound when I make any kind of turn in the car. The computer has already went out, and I can only think what else could go wrong with the car. The control of the car could definatley be improved. I just recently got into an accident in the vehicle and the brakes weren't up to par and the handling was awful. 2007 Pontiac G6 Review:

The car is American made for 1, next the power output is just what I expected from a V6, I have the G6 3.5L 224HP The car handles quite well at high speeds do yourself a favor and take the car for a long test drive I think you will enjoy it. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Pontiac G6?

My G-6 is very stylish and is very comfortable inside. The automatic button to raise or lower driver seat make it nice for view performance to the front of vehicle. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Pontiac G6?
My G-6 does not have XM radio nor has ON Star capability. I would install these features. |

Everything, especially the price. The only thing that scares me is that it's a GM CAR. 2007 Pontiac G6 Review:
I ended up with t6he G6 bcause three Toyota salesmen were rude, I had money earned on a GM credit card and the dealer had fantastic incentives. The car is very hot looking and fun to drive. The ride is smooth as can be. |
