2007 Pontiac G5

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Pontiac G5?
I bought my 2007 Pontiac G5 in January of 2009 and I love it.
It looks sharp. It came with the awesome 7 speaker sound system with a 10 inch sub in the trunk.
It has a smooth ride and pretty good gas millage with the 5 speed manual.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Pontiac G5?
The seats are somewhat comfortable.
I have heard it in some other Cobalts and G5s, when you start the car there is a rattling noise that comes from the motor.
The oil filter is also in a weird spot - same with the battery being in the trunk. What is up with that?

My cars performance has been horrible, I bought it used and replaced the transmission 2 months later. The seats are very uncomfortable and my frame is completely bending, I regret my choice.

I love the fact that I can pass other vehicles and not worry that the car does not have the capabilities to perform. The pickup that the engine provides is wonderful.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Pontiac G5?
There is a high pitched squeak coming from somewhere in the back of the car that is very audible at 80 km's and higher. After 10 minutes I have to wear ear plugs or suffer ear aches. The car dealer tried numerous times to correct this problem and none of the mechanics have found or have been able to correct the noise issue.

Car seat doesn't fit in level (right and left side backseat).

2007 Pontiac G5 Review:
I bought my G5 last April 07. Previous to buying this car a had driven a Lexus ES300 for 4 years. I bought the Pontiac G5 because I needed an economical car as I was returning to graduate school. I have to say that after ten months of driving this car I absolutely love it. I do not miss the Lexus at all. The pontiac was such a great deal for the money and I didn't have to pay for anything extra. Everything that I needed was included unlike many other cars that I looked at such as chevy and mazda. I do a lot of highway driving each week and I get about 34 mpg with my manual transmission. This car is fun to drive any has a lot of power for a 4 cylinder. I would definately recommend this car.

Need to improve on design to protect radiator. It is wide open to anything that may go under your car.
