I like the new body style in this 2007 Sentra, much better than the '06 model. The seats are comfortable. I enjoy driving this car (6-spd) and find the ride smooth and the shifting easy. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Nissan Sentra?
Maybe make the wheel wells a bit smaller. The tires seem to get lost in them. Make ABS standard in all models. 2007 Nissan Sentra Review:

Styling, roomier Cons: How would you improve 2007 Nissan Sentra?
Offer 6-speed manual transmission b/c CVT is very unsatisfactory. The 2.0 SL CVT feels & sounds as though the engine is straining just to give minimal acceleration. The car just does not want to go - sluggish.
Leather seats - at least add the warmers! 2007 Nissan Sentra Review:
Just picked up my '07 Sentra 2.0 SL. Being a 6-sp manual transmission person & having to settle for the CVT, I am totally dissatified. No guts, minimal pick up, the engine sounds as if it's always in low gear & you're forcing the engine to work.
Why even offer a leather option, if you're not going to include seat warmers. Beautiful tan leather upholstry & I had to "ghetto-tize" my car by
putting in a cheesey black seat warmer w/massager. Ugly!!
If you're used to the responsive & quickness of the 6 sp transmission, do yourself a favor & wait for the '07 SE-R Spec V to be available. Unfortunately for me, I didn't have the option of waiting until the '07 SE-R Spec V becomes available, if ever. The release date keeps getting pushed further back; now it's March '07!
It's still a nice car...if you're 70 & older, but not for me. |

I like the smooth quiet ride of the new Sentra Cons: How would you improve 2007 Nissan Sentra?
I would put more of whatever it take to make the close nicer. It sounds REALLY CHEAP when you close the trunk lid. 2007 Nissan Sentra Review:

I got the mileage indicated on the sticker and even a bit better. Like the outside, but the interior plastic could be better. Leather seats are OK. Handling and ride are good. Very roomy inside. Power isn't bad. Trunk holds more than expected and the security door could be quite useful. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Nissan Sentra?
The engine roars a bit much when you floor the accelerator. A bit more sound deadening might help (though it is quiet when cruising). When you use the heater, the column with the shifter can get a bit warm - seems like it needs just a bit of insulation so you don't get a hot knee. The front arm rest is too far back. There is no bump strip on the sides of the car like there are on the Civic or Corolla (I got the high-end model and would expect these). I am afraid that I will get lots of dents on the side. 2007 Nissan Sentra Review:
Overall a good small car. The exterior is a bit eccentric, but grows on you. Interior finish could be improved. I could not get any solid comments on safety ratings on this car. |

I test drove the Honda Civic and Hyundai Elantra as well as the sentra. The civic's engine was a little more refined then the Sentra's but not worth the $2000 premium for the Civic. Performance was about the same between the civic and Sentra. The elantra's engine was very noisy. I think dollar for dollar the Sentra is the way to go. |

I just purchased the 2007 nissan sentra and love it! It's sleek and compact while looking clean and classy. It handles well in "around town" driving as well as on the highway. The car is compact and economical while giving me room to breath. I am a satisfied customer. |

slightly softer suspension and tighter steering at highway speeds to reduce all the corrections necessary to keep it in the middle of the lane because of the electric steering system. 2007 Nissan Sentra Review:
