2007 Lexus ES 350

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Lexus ES 350?
1. Exterior design.
2. Interior ergonomics.
3. Smooth, responsive engine.
4. Navigation system is outstanding!
5. Seats are extremely comfortable for me.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Lexus ES 350?
1. Center console latch can be opened if your elbow is sitting on the console.
2. Improved lighting in front and rear seat area.
3. Since it is a front wheel drive car, it tends to be easy to oversteer at higher speeds. Then again, it's wonderful to have the front wheel drive when there is snow on the roads.
6. Lexus should put longer wearing tires on the car.
Improve the stock radio. Also the ipod should interface with the radio as in even the lower cost Alpine car radios.

2007 Lexus ES 350 Review:
I have 4.500 on my ES. I have had no problems. I have read some people have had problems with the transmission. The transmission has been flawless. It is smooth and almost seamless. The overall performance of the engine has been excellent. On the interstate I have been getting between 30 and 32 miles per gallon. It also is very responsive when you accelerate quickly.

The fit,trim and paint finish is excellent. I like the look of the full panel doors, however I wonder if a trim strip would help keep the nicks and small dents off the car.

The interior is not as plush as the 330 model. The 350 ES has a more sporty look inside. I like the look. It does not look like a "coffin" inside. The center console is certainly different looking, however, it is very functional.

The steering does feel a bit too loose at higher speeds. It does oversteer at higher speeds, but I didn't buy this car for a sports sedan. I use my Miata for my thrill car. The car rides smoothly and quietly. I have no major complaints about my ES. I also bought the car for it's excellent maintenance record and strong resale value.

The dealer is outstanding. They were "down to earth" and very easy to work with. The buying experience was the best one I ever had.

My wife loves it after coming out of Town Cars last 10 yrs.,
because she can manipulate the 350 with ease.

Fuel fill door, hard to open, sounds like it is going to break.
As a medium large person 5'11", 250, I have to sit down, bend my head slightly forward, before I can swing my legs inside. I should have bought the 460 series.
Wish the trunk would operate up/down electrically, she has difficulty pushing the trunk lid up.

extremely comfortable, powerful, reliable, amenities galore, doesn't use premium fuel, great gas mileage, very sexy.

Do not like interior LED lights which are useless. See no need for a 160mph speedometer in this car. Could use the space to differentiate better 55, 60 & 65 mph.

2007 Lexus ES 350 Review:
Good car with a fine ride. Rear vision has decreased due to styling changes. Better vision in 2003 ES300 model. Increased legroom for rear seat passengers is a plus. Like old dash with wrap around would better than new model which feels like too much plastic.

Add OnStar capability to compete with GM cars. GM is trying to overtake Lexus with the CTS. The CTS is a great car, but Lexus is built better and is more reliable.

Just a great ride. Very quiet and responsive.

Location of Windshield wipers allows unintended operation.
Center console lock allows accidendal opening.

Quiet, smooth, athletic feeling. Excellent mileage, averaging 32 mpg+ on 3,500 mile trip including lots of in-city travel and mountain scenic slow driving. GPS system fun and useful. Bluetooth really fun.

Springs in center of the seat hurt my wife. Hit her right on the tailbone.

2007 Lexus ES 350 Review:
Our second ES 3## model. Drove the first one 90,000 miles without a single problem. Expect to do much more than that with this one. Happy that the engine uses a timing chain, rather than a timing belt which can be an $800 maintenance item.
