| Pros: What do you like about 2007 Kia Spectra?
I like the warranty and the cost of the 2007 Kia Spectra.
The back seat is roomy for the kids.
The car drives smoothly and gets great mileage.
This is about where it ends for me. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Kia Spectra?
I have had my spectra to the dealership 9 times for a gas contamination issue. My gas canister has been replaced 4 times. The car stalls out after the tank is filled and will stall while driving and while idling. I have had it stall on the highway with cars coming at me. The dealer keeps saying they fix it, but it happens over and over. The manufacture won't do anything about it, but say they will keep fixing it over and over. I fear the car is unsafe and if gas is leaking to other parts of the car, causing it to stall (as I have been told by the dealer), then what happens if I get in a fender bender with my kids and the car explodes and ignites from the gas leak and sparks ? I would NEVER recommend this car to anyone. 2007 Kia Spectra Review:

I'm the only owner and on my third set of tires. My mileage is only 13,553. I have had it serviced over 6 times. They can't seem to fix it. 2007 Kia Spectra Review:

It runs smooth. It's hard to keep from speeding because it's so smooth you don't realize how fast you are going. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Kia Spectra?
My automatic lights turn on on their own sometime after the car is off. Not always sometimes twice in one day sometimes once every month, weird. I took it to the dealership and they said they fixed the problem but a few weeks later it happened again. 2007 Kia Spectra Review:

| Pros: What do you like about 2007 Kia Spectra?
I like the looks of the car (2007 kia spectra 5 SX). I bought it as it has a very similar body style to some of the VW's I was looking at but was more in my price range. It's a fun sporty car to drive.
However, considering the price I paid ($28,000) and the problems I have had with it, I may have consider purchasing the VW next time. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Kia Spectra?
The running lights/parking lights either do not shut off as they should when I turn off the car or they come back on sometime after parking the car. This has happened a number of times resulting in needing my battery replaced in only a year and a half of owning the car. The dealership seems to be aware of the issue but nothing has been done to resolve it. VERY disappointing. And to make matters worse the battery is not completely covered under warranty.
I also have a water leak in my car and every time it rains my drivers side floor is soaking wet. The dealership can't seem to find anything wrong. |

Having problems with lights coming on at night.I turn the car off, press the lock on the keyless, and some time later the lights come on by there self, running down the battery. |
