| Pros: What do you like about 2007 Kia Rondo?
I love just about everything; it handles well, rides comfortably, rides quietly and has great acceleration when getting on the highway or passing. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Kia Rondo?
Offer a Rear Cargo Area Cover.

This is one of the nicest cars I have ever owned; its very roomy for all passengers (even in the back seat), and I like the driver seat height adjustment, being as I am such a short individual. The ride is nice and quiet, and even when passing, the engine slips smoothly into higher gear for ease of passing or getting on the highway. The cabin is bright and open, with very few blind spots. I especially like the console, which is jutted forward in the center, so everything is just at arm's length without moving your body. My vehicle also has the cruise functions on the steering wheel, which is nice on a trip. I also like that the cupholders are next to you instead of down near the floor. And you should see the storage - its everywhere! There is a large glove box, with a small area above the glove box. there are full storage compartments in all 4 doors, which round at one end to accomodate a water bottle. There are map holders behind each front seat. Then there are 2 compartments which open under the floor in the back which are more than ample for all of your usual "trunk" items.
I did not get a 3rd row seat in my vehicle as I do not need it, but the large cargo capacity of the vehicle with the seats down can accomodate large item hauling. I brought home a full-size dishwasher in the box in the back of my Rondo, and there was still room to spare.
I also want to mention that it feels like you are riding in a much larger vehicle when riding in a Rondo. The ride is very smooth and very quiet, even on the highway. It feels closer to a "luxury car" ride.
The only downside to the Rondo is that it does not come equipped with a cargo area cover, and Kia does not currently offer one. If you want to keep the back from looking unsightly when things are in the back, you currently have to buy a cargo cover from an after-market supplier, and they are expensive.
Other than that, I truly do love my new Rondo. |

Dash is too shiny and reflects in windshield, could use slightly more headroom and legroom in 3rd row seat. The stereo system was replaced with a better model with MP3 input and the rear windows were tinted. 2007 Kia Rondo Review:
Overall an excellent practical and versatile vehicle. I find power to be adequate with the 4-cylinder engine and mileage excellent after 10,000 km or so. Visibility, handling, and parking ease are great. The versatile seating arrangement allows for passengers or cargo or both. The many safety and convenience features combined with a reasonable price top it all off. |

I love the third row seat, smooth shifting (appears to have a quality drive train). I'm up to about 55,000 already and no major issues. I like the optional shifting design as in more expensive European vehicles, headroom is great, feeling of safety with side airbags and weight of the vehicle. A decent vehicle for the money. The Fucillo dealership in Schenectady NY has been great so far. The Service manager has gone out of this way when I've had it in for service. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Kia Rondo?
Original tires need to be upgraded on these cars and the gas mileage is pretty bad, I get about 20-22 MPH max, regardless of highway or around town driving and I really don't drive very fast. Problem with headlights flashing, (see below review): 2007 Kia Rondo Review:
I want to know who else may have experienced this issue: When decelerating at highway speeds (such as when coming off an exit ramp), the headlights flicker terribly up and down, as if I'm flashing the brights, there has been no problem since I bought the car with the electrical system except for this issue. If anybody notices this, please put up a review. I would like to know if others are experiencing this problem. As of this writing, the dealer is working on it for me at this time with Kia's Eastern Regional Division. I can only hope that they will find a fix for this problem soon, as it is dangerous and extremely irritating to other drivers in front of me or coming at me, (and they have definitely let me know about it.) If this is resolved, I can seem myself/family buying Kia vehicles in the future, they haven't let me down yet. |

Awesome vehicle. I love it. I'll check the gas mileage after it's broke in. I didn't need lots of power so I got the 2.4 litre 162hp I4. That baby flys off the line. Got the light almond beige so from a distance it looks like it's just been washed. Lots of room for people and cargo. I used to play in a rock band so there's room for my gear. All in all I love my KIA Rondo. |

I wish the gas mileage were better, and I wish a cargo cover were included standard if you do not get the model with the 3rd row seat. 2007 Kia Rondo Review:
I really like this little car. It looks small from the outside, but is really roomy, with lots of passenger room and cargo space; and there are little storage cubbies everywhere! The comfort and handling is also very nice. The interior is also laid out very well, with the center console jutted forward, everything is at arm's length from the driver. I love my Rondo - I drover several other cars before this one, and loved this one for the money even over Toyota RAV4 and Honda CRV. |

Excellent fit and finish. Handles well both on surface streets and highway. Comfortable seating. Easy to utilize controls. Nifty storage compartments. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Kia Rondo?
Should have lighted gear designations when shifted. Cannot tell what gear you are in in the dark. More exciting exterior design. The roof rack should include the $200, optional cross bars. It is not a roof rack without them and I need a roof rack. 2007 Kia Rondo Review:
Purchased a Kia Rondo about a week ago for $16,000 before tax and license. Me and my family have really been enjoying the relatively smooth, quiet ride. The Rondo handles very well under all conditions we have experienced thus far. I find the exterior to be a little to conservative for my personal taste, but can live with it. The interior and exterior seem to be beautifully finished with very tight, straight lines throughout. The upholstery is of high quality and the seats are very comfortable. This is a great utilitarian car that is both economical and a pleasure to drive. |

My new Rondo is so thoughtfully designed. I test drove about 8 other options, but this Rondo was the only car that filled all my requirements. Low price, third row, much quieter and smoother than Suzuki or even a Honda Pilot, ESC, side curtin aorbags are standard for everyone, even back to the third row. Handles very nicely and has great visibility. I'm delighted. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Kia Rondo?
Give the exterior a bit more character. It's pretty bland looking on the outside. I don't dislike it - but it's just so ... unremarkable. 2007 Kia Rondo Review:
I test drove lots of cars before deciding on the Rondo, for all the reasons above. We needed more interior space than my HHR had - I was so sad to give up that car - what a great car, but a tad too small for a growing family. We didn't want a mini van ao anything big and the Rondo fills the bill in every way. Great interior space, well designed, controls are placed well. Comfortable for a family of 4 with two big growing sons and one dog. |
