Not much. Doesn't feel like a Jeep...the CJ, YJ, & TJ had a "feel" about them that is lost in the JK Cons: How would you improve 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited?
Too much to tell. It looks like something Hummer would make, not Jeep. Aimed at soccer moms, I'm afraid. 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Review:
Test drove the 07 unlimited to replace my old TJ. Was looking for more cargo room, but not at the expense of getting a plastic soccer mom version with the Wrangler name. Drove a reg. JK from my dealership for a few days, but still had the same feeling (plus didn't get the cargo room). Ended up opting to order an 06 Unlimited (LJ) before they quite selling new ones. Good move, love it. Please the roll bar on the 07s hit your head if you top the 6 ft. mark in height. |

It is fun on and off road and I like the 4 doors. It has plenty of power for my use and I like being able to get 2 weeks worth of groceries in the back. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited?
Improve towing capacity and a bigger engine or diesel engine option. 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Review:
I love my Wrangler Unlimited and like that Jeep Wrangler owners wave to each other on the road. |

I had a Jeep Wrangler for four years and sold it in 2004. It was a sad day, but I had to because my right knee was getting too bad by driving stick. I thought I wouldn't ever be interested in a Jeep again, but just recently I have changed my mind. My twin brother and older brother just bought used Jeeps, so I thought about looking at a Jeep again. To make this short, my twin brother told me to go test drive the new 4 door Jeep. Now, I am being honest, it was the best drive I have ever had for a Jeep. I loved it all. I haven't bought it yet, but I hope to sell my Honda, Accord and buy the 4 door Jeep as soon as possible. |

Great and fun truck to drive. I've owned lots of cars in my life, and this thing is awesome. The only issue I would say, is that they could of put a stronger engine in the Jeep, and I've locked my keys in the truck...while running, which seems to be a common problem with this vehicle..so extra care needs to be taken. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited?
Stronger engine and have the rear door be a left-hand hinged door, which make more sense here in the US. 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Review:
Overall ..love it, and it's a whole lot of fun in the cooler weather..once it cools down here in Arizona. My three boys love the fact that you can ride with the top down, and the jeep is so agile in comparison to other cars we've owned in the past. The price decently loaded is $ 28-29K. Looked at the FJ Cruiser, but the four doors and the larger cargo space pointed me more towards the jeep Sahara Unlimited. |

I've always wanted a Jeep and I had some spare time from my busy schedule, so I decided to go out and just simply take a look at the four door Wrangler X. I bought it on the spot. I am 1000% impressed and happy with my purchase. It's nice to have a dream come true and when it does be totally happy. As a first time Jeep owner I have to say that I will be a "JEEPER" for life!!! |

I am terribly dissatisfied & unhappy about the Engine, it dies when in transit randomly, when taking off at a fast speed it does not have much power, when raining its leaky, the key ignition sticks, when raining the spare tire holds water for days. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited?

Ours had 16 mile on the odometer before it stopped running. 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Review:
5/28/07 Memorial Day
We went to the dealership because they had the 07 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X - the four door in the green color my husband wanted. The sticker price said $26,900. They sold it to us for a grand total of $34,634 (including tax and title). I was already angry that this came out to be so much more than the "Sticker price" on the window, and had the feeling I was being ripped off.
But that was small compared to what preceeded to happen. After 6 hours getting the paperwork done, we went out for the final inspection. During this inspection, we found that the passenger door did not shut properly. The dealership made arrangements for us to bring it back first thing the next morning so they could "adjust" the door. We drove straight home, because it was so late and we have three kids...
5/29/07 My husbands birthday
My husband Paul called into work to use his day off for his birthday, because he was so excited and wanted to drive in his new present after we got the door fixed. We left the house and drove about four miles... When our "new" Jeep stalled. Paul started it and we got onto the highway ramp... And it stalled again. He started it again, we got to the dealership and they put it in the shop to fix the door, AND now to also look for the reason it stalled.
So, we spent my husbands day off ( On his birthday, mind you ) with the rental car the dealership gave us, waiting for them to call. At 1pm, they said it was ready to be picked up. Upon arriving at the dealership and turning in the rental, the service center said they were able to repair the door problem by adjusting it, but could find no explanation for the stalling. They said maybe the gas cap had been loose and air had gotten in... So, we got into our new Jeep and left. Less that three miles down the road... It stalled. Four times in a row!! The last time it stalled, we managed to coast into a gas station. Now, it didn't start. I went to the pay phone, and called the dealerhship. My husband got the Jeep to start again, but it stalled out again.
They came to the gas station and brought us a rental car and took the Jeep back to the service center. My husband was crying. I was terrified. Happy Birthday to my sweetheart of 24 years!
5/30/07 The ghost in the Machine
At 9:00 am I called the dealership. They were still working on the Jeep, couldn't find anything wrong. I told them point blank: replace it with a new one or give me back my trade in. My husband drives on THE most dangerous highway in California, on THE MOST dangerous part of that highway, the Cajon Pass on the 15 Fwy. There is NOWHERE to pull over on either side of the road: On the left side, there is a 2000 foot drop to the Valley below; and on the right side, the Semi's come down the 90 degree slope at 80 miles per hour. I will not have my husband driving a brand new "UNRELIABLE" Jeep up and down the pass, I will not!
I contacted DaimlerChrysler service dept, and told them about this problem, and they said to first see if we can work out something with the dealership; then, if I still need assistance, call them back.
At 2:30 pm they called me to say they found a problem with the ignition.
They want us to pick it up tomorrow. I am completely freaked out about this entire ordeal. First, I got raked over the coals financially. Now, I feel like I'm offering my husband up for the slaughter!!
I am writing this today, May 30, 2007 at 2:55p.m. as my testimonial that if something else happens, such as a continuing stalling problem, or worse, that I have documented proof that I immediately tried to fix and rectify the situation, and that we knew something might possibly go wrong... Because WHAT IF IT DOES!!!! |
