| Pros: What do you like about 2007 Jeep Compass?
I love the size of it. I took a trip with 4 adults and l child with a car seat to Jacksonville, NC from Northwestern PA. And all fit comfortable and we had everything we needed in it for a week for all of us.
I love my Jeep and I would buy another one. I just had a problem with the intake and Chrysler backed it 100% with 45,000 miles on it. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Jeep Compass?
I have no cons about my Jeep Compass. My step son even bought one and my son even thought of buying one but ended up buying a Jeep Wrangler. Jeeps run in the family. 2007 Jeep Compass Review:

Love the four wheel drive system.

Too much plastic on the dash and interior.
Had to replace lower ball joints and tie rod ends at 50,000 miles, I guess it is a real problem with Compass. Called Chrysler to see if they would stand behind this problem and they did not. If you need to replace the ball joints and tie rods don't go with the OEM parts or you will be replacing them again in another 25,000 to 30,000 miles. 2007 Jeep Compass Review:
I really like this Jeep product - the size, gas mileage. This is my second Jeep product and really like the dependability of Jeep and they use to stand behind their product, but ever since the bankruptcy I don't think they are as eager to stand behind their product and help their customers like they used to. |

I have owned my 2007 Jeep Compass for a little less then 2 years. Has 42,000 miles on it and have had to replace the windshield, ti-rods, upper arms, brakes, rotors rusted and needed replaced. Thank god for Warranties or I'd still be paying for the repairs. |

I bought my 2007 Jeep compass in Sept of 08, and have had nothing but problems, in April I have to replace the tirod's and now July the lower ball joints are out, it only has 50,000 miles. Chrysler will not stand behind their product. They say it is normal wear and tear. Explain that to me. Fun the Jeep liberty had the same problem and they recalled them. Funny. |

I would soften up some parts of the interior plastic. 2007 Jeep Compass Review:
One review on here mentioned stregnthening the rear bumper. It does,nt need it. I had a Ford Fusion hit the rear of my Compass at 15-20mph while I was stopped. The Ford had his airbag go off and lots of damage to the hood and radiator grill, front bumper etc. All that was done to the Compass was three very small scratches on the plastic bumper cover.I did,nt even bother to get the scratches repaired, tough car those Compasses. |

I really can't figure out why this great little ride is getting such a bad rap. I love it. I enjoy it in town as well as up in the mountains and on the banks of the river . I really enjoy it. I have had not one problem passing on the highway or any power problems what so ever and I can crank it up. I don't know why it is getting bad reviews. I'd buy it again. |

It is a very functional car, and it has a design that grows on you. Its mileage in its first Maine winter dipped to around 25 mpg or lower in really cold, raw snowy weather but otherwise exceeds 28 mpg in good weather. CVT transmission always downshifts the car with ease whenever I take my foot off the gas, saving on the brakes. Car seems very stable and not the least bit top heavy like taller SUVs. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Jeep Compass?
I would add internal storage bins, make a roof system a standard item and make the front midseat arm rest larger and more cushioned. I would extend and strengthen rear bumper. Tailgate seems a bit flimsy but OK, and it needs to be reinforced and 2007 Jeep Compass Review:
I have basic 2WD model. All plastic interior with no electric windows or power locks. It handles great in icy conditions here in Maine. Gets great gas mileage, heats well and turns better and in a tighter circle than any car I have ever driven including my wife's Passat. Like it a lot in general. |

I like the look of the Compass; it comes with everything inside, that my Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited has, and I also fill the Compass has adequate power and getup. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Jeep Compass?
I would make the back seat head rests hollow like the front seats; for better visibility. The rails the front seats sit on should be a little shorter, my pant leg got caught on it while stepping out of the Compass; or I could be a little less lazy when getting out of the Compass. 2007 Jeep Compass Review:
I liked the Compass the first time I saw it back in August, I bought a Compass Sport with the Customer Preferred 26E option package, that's all the power stuff. Sirius Satellite nine speaker system, free for one year, Power Sun roof, and the Driver Convenience Group; that has the garage door opener, vehicle information center, a compass and temp display, and tire pressure monitoring display.
I love the ride, the looks, and the mileage I'm getting. The only thing I don't like is driving it in bad weather, I hate to get is full salt form the Milwaukee streets this time of year. |

this is a real nice size s.u.v. w/a 4 cyl.and the new tran. you have in it. i think it it has a grate power train. set up. i wish it had a power seat i 'am handiecap w/a power seat in it i would be able to drive it.
