Pros: What do you like about 2007 Hyundai Elantra?
The gas mileage, the space - esp. second row hip room for car seats (more than the 2010 Fusion, Malibu, or the Camry; .3 in. less than the Accord), 7500 miles between oil changes, warranty, seems solid and well built.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Hyundai Elantra?
Speedo about 5 off, limited visibility when backing up, could use more power, limited lumbar support, stock tires were pretty poor on snow and ice.

I bought the car used so I've owned it for a little under 2 years now. Only issue I've had has been the air bags light came on at about 53,000. Took it in and they reset for free - warranty is good. It's a comfortable car for my family of 4. I really like the car and would recommend it.

I DON'T LIKE ANYTHING ABOUT IT. EVERY SINCE I BOUGHT IT I HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE. BATTERY WENT DEAD THREE TIME, BRAKES ARE WORTH ANYTHING ELECTRIC SYSTEM IS BAD. I HAVE USED UP EVERY TO SERVICE I HAD EVEN WITH MY INSURANCE. IT'S BEEN IN THE GARAGE MORE THAN I'VE HAD IT SEEMS DO NOT BUY THIS CAR

Value, more safety features than competition, interior space, clean interior design, cup holder, MP3 port, 4 wheel disc brakes

cloth seats attract dirt, rear view is limited, better suspension, improve exterior looks (front grill, rear window shape, a wee little chrome on the window trim), better gas mileage, add blue tooth as an option.

You feel you are getting a lot more car than what you paid for. Tight build, refined and spacious interior. Decent performance and smooth ride. It looks better than the old XD design, but it could've been a little better...considering the competition. They were perhaps looking at Corolla too much when styling it. It is handsome in a safe way w/o too much verve. (which is what make Corolla such a popular car. it doesn't offend.)But nice enough. I love how my black Elantra looks. This car is rated with better gas mileage than my 93 Prizm, but so far it hasn't gotten better mpg than my Geo (after 1100 miles)

seat belt retracts fast enough to allow metal end to scratch door panels. This is not so good
