2007 Hyundai Accent

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Hyundai Accent?
Good gas mileage.
Cargo space holds lots of stuff.
Easy to park.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Hyundai Accent?
Interior fabric attracts dirt, hair, pet dander and is hard to vacuum off.
Seatbelt is really hard to reach behind and grab (in front seats).
Armrest mechanism broke on drivers right side.
Seats are uncomfortable.
Headrest rests right on my head instead of behind it. My hair sticks to it.

2007 Hyundai Accent Review:
Great car for the price, but not good for longer trips. After an hour, feels like you're sitting on hard surface.

Holds plenty of cargo for a compact car (I have the hatchback version). I put a hitch on it to carry a bike rack, which you cannot do on the Honda Fit.

Paint job is still good after 4 years.

Add 6th gear. RPMs are way too high after 65mph.

The pep, corners well, easy to park, little car but roomy, and with standard maintenance, very reliable!!

My old 96 accent had 135,000 and was still going when I traded it in. Drove across country twice and was never gentle with it. It took a beating!

Find a way to add a 6th gear or O/D with reducing torque! Love the pep but over 70 mph, the rpm is over 4000 making the engine noise almost unbearable! My 96 accent/ auto. never made that much noise at highway speeds!

Door panels and dash scratch easily and seatbelts too far back. Love the tilt in steering wheel but if you're short, and have to be close to reach the clutch, your knees touch the column.

I still love my little zippy car, just wish it wasn't sooo loud after 70mph!

Great ( great ! ) gas mileage. Very smart choice for a "college" car - functional, parks in very small spaces, economical.

I bougth this car when i went back to school - and it does exactly what it needs to do: gets me to & from school in a very cost effficient manner, never breaks down, and can hold all my junk in it - even my shortboard.

the indoor panel scratch so easy i have had mine for 2 weeks and am a single male and my inside panels look like crap already

besides the panels its the best car i have ever purchase i get more like 25-28 mpg i guess its cause its a standard. Which is great for mountain driving and the handling yes i love the way it handles i give that a BIG 10 Stereo Is a 9 Stylish LOOK a 10 Opt for the options and the standard is so much fun.

Excellent gas mileage, good blend of ride and handling on the SE hatchback. Leather steering wheel contributes to the sporty feel.

Still some iffy built quality, mine developed a hatchback rattle after only 150 miles. Steering wheel should be a little farther away for tall drivers who prefer manual transmissions. Also the tilt does not go high enough for tall drivers. Manual shifter a little balky.

Overall a good car, sporty "feel" if not very fast. 4 wheel disc brakes are excellent.

Front end a bit plain looking. Attach front seatbelts to seats so you don't have to twist and reach back to try to find it, the metal seat buckle seems to scratch and chip the plastic door panels badly. Noisy in high gear, and bad on gas because RPM's too high in 5th gear.

read MSN reliabilty data or any source other than Consumer Reports and you'll see the "K" cars (Korean) are more of a bargain than you think--I have owned 7 with no mechanical problems period!
