GM should have offered displacement on demand v8 or a factory turbo for the I5 engine would have been a big plus. and could have made the interior more exciting like the H2 2007 Hummer H3 Review:

I've clocked about 200 miles on my 2007 Hummer H3 and love it! Also looked at Nissan Xterra, Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (4dr), previously owned/ looked at Landrover Discovery. The Hummer H3 seemed to offer the best compromise of features, performance and capabilities of all these vehicles. I didn't looke at the Toyota because of the rear passenger doors (SILLY, SILLY, SILLY). Plus I think they were designed by the same person who designed the AMC Gremlins from the 80's. I like the fact that the interior of the Hummer balances the "in-your-face" styling of the exterior. For such an agressive exterior styling, the interior is calm, almost minimalist. Looking foward to many trips...on and off road...in my Hummer. |

Excellent off-road capability. Top-notch build quality by GM. Very good fuel economy considering weight of vehicle. Tough Hummer look to exterior yet practical for everyday use. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Hummer H3?
Rear seats should fold flat. Back-up sensors or camera. Flex Fuel capable. Built in Bluetooth for cell phones. Connector for iPod. More storage cubbies, especially for emergency gear. 2007 Hummer H3 Review:
A lot of SUV for the price. Excellent rear cabin storage space. Nice high view when driving, though seats do sit lower than expected. Poor rear visibility with tiny rear window, large pillars, and spare tire. Back-up sensor system is an absolute must for safety around kids. Very nimble with surprisingly small turning radius. Ride is truck-like but refined. Very stable stance in rain and snow. Full-time 4WD with Stabilitrak and ABS makes for a safe and secure ride in inclement weather or poor road conditions. If GM can address some issues and improve the engine's efficiency, this would be the ultimate Hummer. |
