Pros: What do you like about 2007 Honda Pilot?
This is a great car for the money.

The size and smooth to drive.
Good on Gas and comfortable to drive long distances.
Not as noisy to drive as some of the vehicles that I have driven.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Honda Pilot?
I lost the cylinders on the back gate the second year I had it, the remote starter didn't work during the second year. Have the 4x4 manual, instead of kicking in automatically as required. I never know if it's in 4x4. Because, it isn't has good in snow or where conditions call for 4x4, as my Chevy S-1O 4x4 pickup. That third seat is hard to access, really need to do something about that. The wheels that look like chrome is terrible, they are all scaling. A real disappointment.

I am really happy with my 07 Pilot. It is a safe car and the mileage is not too bad.

2007 Honda Pilot Review:
I was disappointed to learn after 6 mos that my Pilot would not pull a 22 ft trailer. I love to camp and just found the trailer I want only to now learn that the 3.5 engine will only pull 3,500 lbs. Very difficult to find a trailer that light. Empty my trailer is 4087. Very disappointing since, when I bought the Pilot, the salesman assured me it would pull 5,000 lbs.

1. Do something about the rear braking system.
2. Improve fabric stain resistance.
3. Interior plastic trim scratches far too easily.

2007 Honda Pilot Review:
On my last car (not a Honda) I never had to replace my rear brakes, NEVER - My mechanic (a good one) insisted they didn't need to be changed (113,000 miles over 12 years).
Imagine my surprise when the dealership tells me that at the routine 30,000 mile maintenance that the rear brake pads have only 15% pad left. Now I see online that the 2008 Accords have gotten quite a reputation for this malady with at least some recourse but nothing on the 2007 Pilot. This is not what I expected from a company like Honda. Please step-up and admit the problem. Premature wear and tear on the brakes from primarily highway driving is a Safety Issue because it's totally unexpected and at best an unreasonable hidden maintenance expense from a any auto manufacturer that stake its reputation on quality.

Wipers and gearshift definitely TOO close together.
Not enough leg room for driver.
Rear window should open.
Rear door too heavy to open - should be electric.
Dash controls should be turning buttons rather than push buttons so you don't have to take your eyes off the road to adjust.

REALLY, REALLY DON'T LIKE THE AUTOMATIC FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE FEATURE!!! I WANT THE OPTION OF MANUALLY PUTTING MY VEHICLE IN FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE WHEN I FEEL THE ROAD CONDITIONS WARRANT IT - NOT WAITING FOR THIS TO HAPPEN AUTOMATICALLY. I HAVE DRIVEN ON MANY ADVERSE ROAD CONDITIONS AND HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED THE FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE FUNCTION.
