Pros: What do you like about 2007 Ford Mustang?
Smooth, stylish and powerful.
Always great fun to drive.
California Special package GT was incredibly well designed and responsive.
Tremendous handling and outstanding cornering.
Great ride on the highway or downtown.
Cloth top option on convertible great option.
Great exhaust sound and feel.
Good audio system with Sirius option.
Low profile tires and classic chrome wheels make this an incredibly sharp ride!

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Ford Mustang?
Even with the top packages, auto headlights was not an option. Glad that was fixed with the 2010 model.

We got the CS package because it was the only one in South Florida with heated seats, but only the surface is heated. In a car that will appeal to boomers and mid-life crisis kids, a full length heated seat would make more sense. So would adjustable shoulder belts.

As many have said, cup holders are dysfunctional (also improved in 2010.)

Rag top has recurring problems with air and water leaks due to bad seals.

Boring radio display with very limited information on display.

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Ford Mustang?
I have the 4.0 V6 automatic that is very fast.
The gas mileage wasn't that great when I bought it 16/24.
Didn't like the ride until I bought Yokohama YK 580 225/60/17 tires. I went from 235/55/17 Pirelli Nero Zerros and wow what a difference in ride, handling, weather, virtually no road noise.

I added the BBK mass air filter kit (about $200), high output voltage regulator ($100) with increased spark plug gaps to 65, delayed shift points by recalibrating the computer, and shorty headers; It's at 20/29 MPG now.

2007 Ford Mustang Review:
It's a great car and one that is very easy to work on yourself, if you're so inclined.

Make sure to buy a 2007 or later model if you want a convertible as the 05/06 models had convertible top problems related to an old cable design.

Interior could use a little more quality on things like seat knobs that break and some more dress up. I have a standard model and that's why the Pony package is so desirable.

Love this car. It's the 66th car I have owned.

I had a '66 Candy Apple Red coupe, six cylinder as a new Air Force 2nd LT. It got totaled by a large Dodge in Atlanta. Then got a '68 Torino GT fastback. The larger size accommodated my growing family (on assignment in Germany) better. Continued to like and watch Mustangs through the years.

Just bought a cream puff '07 Redfire Clearcoat Metallic V-6 Premium Coupe, with Medium Parchment interior, from local Ford Dealer. I absolutely love the car (I'm now 67) and enjoy driving it every bit as much as my 66. I intended to drive my F-150 a lot and keep the mileage low on the Mustang but haven't been very successful so far. I especially enjoy sound system and the Satellite Radio band from the factory (No gaudy add-ons). (Helps me keep up with the national politics.)

Seat belt is hard to reach upon sitting in driver seat.
I would relocate the Satellite Radio Antenna and color code it to the car.

Just drove to Ohio and back to S. Carolina and it was fun the whole trip, more so in the mountains. Handling is great, and v6 has plenty of power when passing. Great job Ford! Next buy will be a GT!

2007 Ford Mustang Review:
A tremendously satisfying driving experience on the street and highway. Instant throttle response and pleasing engine growl that turns into a roar. The 5-speed auto has fangs and runs with the Big Dawgs. A real torque monster at low and high speeds in pure stock form. A popular Mustang magazine tested an auto '07 GT and posted a 13.79 qtr.-mile time and 12.89 just by adding a cold air intake and tune (near '67 Mach 1 Super Cobra Jet performance). Just with a $40 reusable after-market air filter (i.e., stock replacement) I can feel a big difference in engine response. Amazing! Suggest 5W-20 Red Line fully synthetic or other superior engine oil after the 3K mile break-in (some Ford dealers sell it). Sure, a supercharger will get you into the 400hp range, but it really only kicks in at very high speeds like you need for drag racing. Otherwise, 300+hp and 320+lb.ft. torque is plenty for the streets and road and can smoke most cars if necessary. Watch that speedometer constantly...cause you can quickly hit 90-100mph and start to pass other cars like they're standing still. I'm in my mid-50's and even so, it's hard to resist the need for speed. I wouldn't recommend this car for young drivers without a lot of experience and discipline. Caution...this car definitely bruises eggos, so watch out for the crazy antics of jealous drivers! Thanks Ford...the new Mustang GT is a Grand Slam!

Its a great cruiser for the world I live in, its pretty, fast and handles well and most of all, fun to drive. I just parked my mercedes.

For the world I live in its fast enuf, handles well enuf is drop dead pretty. A friend of mine has a bmw 330i, says he can take off ramps @ 80 mph, thats not the world I live in. Mostly its just fun to drive.
