Better I4 engine performance, improved fit & finish (interior AND exterior). 2007 Ford Fusion Review:
Overall the Fusion is a good value. It stands out when parked next to the ho-hum Accord and Camry. The Fusion I own is the 2007 SE I4. The automatic transmission is smooth and is tuned to match the engine well. The engine is noisy, and while it is not annoyingly so, the noise is quite noticable even at 3,000 rpms, which makes the engine appear strained to produce power. Interior fit & finish, unlike some reviews suggest, is NOT acceptable for a $20,000+ car. The materials are of fine quality, it is the attention to detail and alignment that is off. Handling is sound and secure, and while nimble is not the perfect word for it, it is close. The steering is well weighted and provides good feedback. Braking performance is hard to nail down. One minute peddle feel is nice and firm, the next it is soft and almost dis-connected feeling. Overall braking is good. The 2007 Fusion does present a capable import fighter from Ford. Its about time. Many people (myself included) will chose this looker over the Camry and Accord. It would have a shot at #1 mid-size sedan status if Ford had only hit the small details like its competition does. |

The bold, distinctive styling is outstanding. Our 2007 SEL AWD Fusion rides and handles great. The interior is superb for fit and finish and is extremely comfortable (heated leather seats with moon roof). Good CD/radio. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Ford Fusion?
Better gasoline mileage in city driving. We are only getting 14.8 mpg. Our terrain is flat, the climate is mild and we are conservative, gentle drivers. 2007 Ford Fusion Review:

Why can't Ford with all the money they make on cars all of them with heated power side mirrors,power inside rearview mirrors, larger sunvisors..and more comfortable seating. I don't think the seats are all that comfy. 2007 Ford Fusion Review:

the tail lights of my FUSION are a confusion, FORD went back 50 years, hey wake up FOOOORRRRDD we are in the leds and xenon generation technology. It took 3 decades to ford to build a car that can defie japanese and german brands, maybe not german yet, I'm french and I know for sure that europeen cars are the best in the world, therefore whatch and learn FORD...........

doesn't FORD know how to build engines,does he realy need MAZDA, so here it is, we need a small and vibrant engine 4 cylinders with turbo or supercharger at least 300 HP with sport suspension and AWD 50/50,bye bye subaru.The interior panel doors, what a shame we can see the door inside metal when the door is closed, please ford take a look at BMW, AUDI, MERCEDES haha little details make a big diference. 2007 Ford Fusion Review:
