| Pros: What do you like about 2007 Ford Focus?
Awesome handling, great appearance, all the conveniences I could want - 6-disk MP3 CD Changer, Power Moon Roof, Heated Seats, Traction Control, very efficient A/C system, very good road noise for small car.
Regular driving habits give me 43 mpg highway and a steady 39 mpg overall - pretty good! (That's with the smaller engine and a 5-speed.) Cons: How would you improve 2007 Ford Focus?
I would make the 16" low profile aluminum performance rims and tires optional. I didn't really want them, but they were part of the SEL package. Look great, but replacement tires are EXPENSIVE and 2 rims were damaged by craters in the road last winter - repair of the bent rims wasn't cheap.
Redesign the cup-holders - front ones aren't convenient, and only 1 in the back for 3 people.
That's about all I would change, and it isn't much for an entire vehicle. 2007 Ford Focus Review:
Overall, the best little car on the market - for any reasonable price, as far as I'm concerned. I guess if I threw 20 more bills out I might get a bit more, but then it would hardly be an 'economy car' would it?
I've driven the offerings from GM, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Hyundai, Dodge, Kia... no thanks to any of them. Either price is in the ballpark and quality is in the tank, or quality is in the ballpark and price is over the top.
Focus gives the best combination of price, performance and equipment on the market today. |

Lot of room with hatchback. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Ford Focus?
The rack and pinion went out in late 2009 and brakes are binding for no reason. Car has only 7,650 miles on it and has not been abused but is now having these dangerous problems. Told it is "undriveable" in November 2009. 2007 Ford Focus Review:

reduse noise. improve the quality in workmanship. My 2000 focus was a great car, it has 287,000 miles on it. had minnimal problems. I felt confidant purchasing a 2007. I'm dissapointed. |

Door Hinges - You would think the car is 10 years old when opening and closing the doors, but it only has 12,000 miles.
Cut down on road noise!
Stop using Perilie tires! They are junk.
Improve the stero sound.

have a 2001. piece broke off and went through torque converter. signal lights stopped turning off when used. have to turn them off manually. rear window has been stopped working-TWICE. goes down, won't go up again. seat belt doesn't retract half the time. |

I would improve the writing in the manual! I initially found it hard to read in spite of my degrees! It should be more specific about the signals on the dashboard in particular. The same people who wrote the manual must write the instructions for using cell phones! |

Ordered my Focus with every option possible. Leather seats that are heated, etc. Traded a BMW 5-series in for a Focus and the Focus wins hands down. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Ford Focus?

Former BMW was always in the shop. Only problem w/ the Focus has been a speed control problem dealer could never diagnosis. Now that the warranty is out, it's stopped working all together...my nickel to repair of course. |

Looks, handling, ride. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Ford Focus?
When shifting the five speed transmission, the engine will at time jump 300 to 400 rpm in between shift. The two dealers I went to about this have said this is normal. This has lead me to try to get rid of the car. Other cars I have driven in It's price class don't seen to have this problem. 2007 Ford Focus Review:
