Roomy in the cab/trunk.

Less road noise. Car is way too noisy for a luxury car.
More 12V outlets in the rear seating/center console. 2007 Ford Five Hundred Review:
Great car but needed to go the extra mile to make it a real luxury car. Keep Pirelli tires off the car. Goodyear Assurance tires are much better. |

Size, room, and features for the price.
Car handles very good, considering its size.
24mpg overall. 28mpg on the highway. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Ford Five Hundred?
Smooth out the somewhat rough sounding engine. Car is rather noisy at highway speeds, considering the luxury feeling inside the car. Road noise, mostly. 2007 Ford Five Hundred Review:
I bought a front wheel drive Limited with 6 speed auto in April, 2009 with 68000 miles on it. Got an incredible deal on it. It is in pristine shape. Traded in a Taurus with 235000 miles on it. Hope this one holds up that well. (I was looking for another used Taurus, but the deals on used 500's were much better.) |

Most everything.
Is spacious, has style, easy to drive and handle on rural roads and freeway.
My Five Hundred is loaded with moon roof, heated seats, etc. and I enjoy all of these features as well.
I'm on the road a lot and it is a comfortable car. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Ford Five Hundred?
Reduce the road noise which is more noticeable on the passenger side in the front and especially noisy in the back seat.
I find the center console too close to gas peddle.
Gas mileage is not as good as they said, disappointed in that. Usually only get 23 to 25, rarely above. But do a lot of short trip driving. 2007 Ford Five Hundred Review:

Have the leather upgrade seating, which is wonderful on long trips, front or rear seat.
Very low wind noise.
Have the upgrade stereo, not excellent but above average and pleasing to listen to.
Auto climate dual control works very well.
Trunk is giant.
Handling is good for a large sedan.
Highway mileage about 28.5-29.5.
Plenty of cupholders and storage compartments in the interior. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Ford Five Hundred?
Insulate better for road noise.
Make the clock display larger.
Embed the antenna in the windshield or rear glass. |

Center console too close to gas pedal, constricting driver's right leg. Driver seat could travel back more. AWD fuel economy lower than advertised. 2007 Ford Five Hundred Review:
Overall, the car is probably closer to a 5 rating than a four, but the issues with driver seat positioning detract from the many positives. |

great mileage: 30-33 highway at 65 mph, 27, 28 at 70 and above with the CVT all wheel drive version.
wonderful all wheel drive, great brakes, headlights.
comfortable, good visibility, great cargo space.

This is a great car at a good price. It is roomy, safe, reliable in bad weather conditions. It performs like an SUV while getting 30% better gas mileage. It is pretty. It has more than adequate power for merging, passing and hill climbing. |
