Fun little car to drive.
Stylish.
Good gas mileage. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Dodge Caliber?
Improve alignment and tire noise. Dodge should recall the tires and put new ones on. 2007 Dodge Caliber Review:
In dealership less than 400 miles ago for routine maintenance and was always told normal characteristic of the vehicle for making tire noise.
On this service visit less than a month ago was told tires feathering would need to be replaced at a future service, told had plenty of wear left on the tire.
Guess what, the rear tire blew out while driving less than 30mph today. The whole side wall blew out. What if I would have been on the highway doing 65mph? Could killed someone including myself if an accident occurred. Think about the tires and take it seriously. |

Its performance has been flawless for us.
Acceleration better than expected; hill climbing no problem.
Pleasing appearance with its unique design.
Higher comfortable seats make climbing in and out much easier. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Dodge Caliber?

I have late 2007 UK model SXT CVT includes TPM & auto dip rear view mirror.
My 2nd Caliber but would like auto diesel version. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Dodge Caliber?
Slimmer A pillars.
Softer plastic.
Better ride over small bumps.
Reduce speaker size.
Increase front door pocket - size too small.
Reduce floor level step - too high gets very dirty.
Tire roar too noisy over 40 mph. |

Tire Noise. Do not replace the tires with the original brand tire. Firestone - FireHawks. The treadware number is 300. I got Yokohama tires with a treadware number of 700. These tires will not wear out as fast AND the ride is 200 times smoother. |

THIS 2007 HAVE BEEN GIVEN ME PROBLEMS I HAD TO CHANGE OUT A ALTERNATOR, MULTI SWITCH FOR THE FRONT LIGHTS, ALSO TIPM MODULE FOR THE LIGHTS, WATER IN MY TALE LIGHT, AIR BAG LIGHT. I HAD TO CHANGE OUT MY FUSES.
WHAT IS GOING ON WHEN THEY MAKE THESE NEW CARS. IT IS TOO EARLY FOR THIS TO BE HAPPEN. IT'S ONLY BEEN TWO YEARS SINCE I HAD THIS NEW CAR AND I PUT IN SO MUCH MONEY I FEEL LIKE IF I KEEP THIS CAR I WILL BE KEEP REPLACING. I just purchase this vehicle a few weeks ago. It is quiet, good looking, sassy, space is wonderful even in the back seats. Everyone in my family is large and no problems. It is a great car to have. |

love the high seating to allow good visibility. Love the cargo room and the folding seats. like the rechargeable flashlight and the speakers that come down in the back. These come in handy when we went camping! I like the 17" wheels on it as well. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Dodge Caliber?
Better color in the interior. When you have children, a light tan is not the best color to have. Would have liked the seats in the back to have been a bit more comfortable and roomier. 2007 Dodge Caliber Review:

I like the ride height-- taller than a car. Also has AWD and decent gas mileage- Approx 27 on ave. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Dodge Caliber?
The road noise and tires. I hate the tires--I have 26,000 on mine. Was told the tires are cupping. Have read other reviews that this seems to be an issue with the caliber. 2007 Dodge Caliber Review:
Overall I like the car. May have to get rid of it, if I can't get the noise under control. Also had recent problem with tire pressue monitor system-- the wiring had carroded. |

it is mechanically unreliable, replaced alot of parts, won't stay "aligned". 2007 Dodge Caliber Review:
This car is coming to the end of my warranty and am still having trouble with it. second time replaced rear wheel and hub, computer has had to be "updated", i am very disenchanted with this car and dodge. I own a jeep as well which has been wonderful, which doubles my disappointment. Oh and now with the latest wheel/hub replacemnent my warranty is coming to an end. But thats ok I can BUY an extended warranty, not a lot of confidence going forward. Can NOT recommend this car to anyone. |

Car is VERY noisy, but cute and fun to drive though. Very sad about tire alignment issues (recalls coming out soon I have been told though). So for all who still have a Cailber, help is on the way, MAYBE or NOT?? Disgusted with the tire alignment issues (all four tires cupping, and Chrysler refused to pick up tab and dealership said to split tire costs with me though). I got sick of this repeat issue with tires cupping, and alignment, and being dodged for assistance from Chrysler. Dealership was helpful but hands were tied as well. I traded even for a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT and LOVE this car even though it was 3 years old. Caliber 07 SXT Black...now the problem of someone else, I take it. But not me anymore....... |
