I own a convertable. I love the seating position with the ease of entering and exiting, due to having a bad back. Performance and handling is satisfactory. I love the styling and the convertable top is one of the easiest I have ever owned. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
There is a little too much body roll on fast cornering and the sound system is only fair. 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser Review:
The new 2007 Convertable Spring Package is a great bargin. The car is a cruiser and not a performance car. If you are looking for a practical and fun car, it is the best bang for the buck out there. |

Roomy for a small car. Good trunk space. 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser Review:
I rented a cruiser for a week while my minivan was being repaired. I thought I would feel closed in, being used to my much larger vehicle. I felt right at home. It's a comfortable, quiet drive with plenty of room for kids and storage in back. I was very impressed with it. It might be my next vehicle. |

Durability/reliabilit of the '06--has it improved for '07? Great looks, lousy quality 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser Review:
I bought a brand new '06 for my daughter's graduation. Cute and stylish, fairly good fuel enconomy BUT!!!
One of the windows in the rear came lose from it's seal and fell out, the clothes hanger bent when she hung close on it, and the small bar that holds the front hood up for the engine compartment, fell through the hole that was intend to secure the hood, and could not be removed until it was disassembled!!! Also, on one occasion, the fuel gauge, power windows and doorlocks wouldn't operate. I assumed it was a bad fuse, but they all checked out. After removing and replacing every fuse in both the interior and under the hood compartments, everything worked. So far, that hasn't reoccurred.
I am constantly concerned about the reliability and the possibility that my daughter will be stranded, or a door handle might suddenly fall off! We haven't had this car for a year, (Feb. '06), so far warranty has covered the repairs, but the car is brand new, with under 8000 miles!! |
