mechanical systems poor-the transamission had to be replaced at low mileage(all highway and no towing), it went while I was driving; on two other occasions the entire engine would not work and I was stranded on the road. 2007 Chevrolet Suburban Review:
In the past I have has a chev blazer, suburban and none had the problems that this 2007 has had. I left the car with the dealer, as I refuse to drive it and be stranded on the road another time. |

. had problem with driver lumbar. battery run down. . dome overide will not work. battery ran down twice. the old style was better mechanicaly. stearing shaft is to be replaced tomorrow. |

Great styling, ride, and power. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Chevrolet Suburban?
Get the interior utility sorted out! Borrow some clues from the mini-vans (fold flat 3rd seats, configurable seating, more storage, sliding rear doors...) or I'm not next time, I'm not going to be able to keep my wife at bay and I'll be headed skiing in an Oddessey or Grand Caravan :o) 2007 Chevrolet Suburban Review:
I love it inspite of it's completely impractical interior (for hauling kids vs cargo). Have to say that the safety improvements for 2007 were a huge consideration - you feel very safe in this vehicle. |

Great fit and finish. Many nice features. Good power but more is always better. 13.5 mpg in city, 16.5 on hwy going 65-80 mph. Very quiet at highway speeds. No rattles, etc. Idles so smooth you think it died. Good power for around town. Great power when it gets on the cam. |

Rear seating is awful. Hard to fold 2nd seats - no flat floor, no storage under seats, very poor design. Headlights - very hard to change bulbs by consumer, old design was great. 2007 Chevrolet Suburban Review:
I have had a New Suburban every 2-3 years since 1977. This is a very nice vehicle, awful rear seat design, complicated to change headlight bulbs. Nice exterior, nice ride and excellent optional features. Auto-starter is not a good option, leave this to after-market products - 190 feet range to start?? I would give the 2007 Suburban a 4 out of 5 rating. |

More storage. There is no place to store anything in this bigggest of the big chevys. 2007 Chevrolet Suburban Review:
The navigation system sucks. The radio does not work like the owners manual says it does. Overall, I am disappointed with the functionality of the vehicle. Looks good, drives good, but it is not nearly as practical as a vehicle this price and size should be. |
