Good gas mileage, comfortable, nice seat height and window space. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Chevrolet Aveo?
Well, my car is two years old and worth 15,000 Chevy already poured over 8 grand into because of oil leaks, the power steering went out, I had to have the alternator replaced and now the transmission pump is failing. I have always taken extremely good care of this car and yet it keeps failing me. Very big disappointment. 2007 Chevrolet Aveo Review:
I would not recommend this car to anyone, especially people strapped for cash because it can break a person with all of the problems it has. |

The car has a good ride and nice feel at corners.
Quite roomy for a sub compact, better than I thought it would be.
Gas mileage isn't bad. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Chevrolet Aveo?
Needs standard CD player.
Button for power locks (not pull up on driver knob).
Suspension squeaks a lot.
And last but not least, this car is a rattle trap (but what do expect for a deawoo/chevy mix). |

Good fuel mileage,comfortable seats,5 star crash rating for
front passengers,CVT transmission is very smooth.Lots of head room and great 12' turning radius. Cabin very quiet and car not bothered by side winds. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Chevrolet Aveo?
I would like wider tires,and more room in back seats. I think it should get better fuel mileage with such a small 1.6 liter engine. I would prefer the ignition lock to be on the dashboard instead of the stearing whell. 2007 Chevrolet Aveo Review:
Great value for the money with lots of advance engineering features such as cvt tranny,tire presssure monitor,variable cam shaft and tuned exhaust and air intake.Ventilated disk brakes,safety frame built around cabin. Good visability. Handles well and lots of sound insulation.This type of car makes a lot of sense with inflation and gas prices over $3 gallon. It's basic transportation engineered well& priced right. |

peppy engine from 0 - 30mph with auto trans. back seats fold down and forward in Aveo 5 for more cargo room. Engine noise is reasonable when cruising on the highway. Appreciate "Hold Mode" on auto trans, somewhat helpful when needed Cons: How would you improve 2007 Chevrolet Aveo?
needs 5 speed automatic, perhaps CVT, improve the 5 speed manual transmission, very unresponsive manual trans. 2007 Chevrolet Aveo Review:
Fun to drive inexpensive subcompact imported from Korea. Could use a few more ponies under the hood. Price and warranty make this automobile attractive to cash strapped individuals like myself. I predict average reliabilty, but lower than average resale value. I plan to use a quality synthetic motor oil to prolong engine life and perhaps improve mileage. |

Interior and exterior design are spiffy; great car for in-town running and more than OK on highway. The Aveo, to me, is a well-kept secret. Anyone who sees my car or drives it, likes it. But 99.9% have never heard of it. I haven't seen it advertised either. I think it is a good addition to the subcompact market. Like being able to recharge my cell phone without a special auto adapter also. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Chevrolet Aveo?
I have no complaints after first six months of ownership. My husband, who is 6'2" with long legs, would borrow my car more if it had a little more leg room. Personally, I'm glad it doesn't because then I would have to drive his truck more often. |

2007LT (Auto Trans.) Cool looking, good performance, no road noise, good sound system, large trunk, excelant value (good bang for the buck) 26 mpg city, 35 mpg highway. Above 3000 RPM, engine becomes more effcient and MPG increases. Shift points on Japan made transmission really tuned to engine to give good acceration and smooth shifts. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Chevrolet Aveo?
Anti-lock brakes should be standard equipment. 2007 Chevrolet Aveo Review:
After 6 months and 7000 miles, I can find no problems. One complaint, car purchased the end of Dec. And GM sent recall notice right away........ recall was issued Middle of Nov. Problem should have been fixed before delivery. |
