Great ride.
20" rims are nice and easy to clean.
Lots of interior room and storage.
Wife and kids love it.
DVD in the headrests are a definite must, with young kids. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche?
Cloth seats suck. Showing wear already, on drivers seat. Lint magnet material.
Tail gate plastic scratches easy.
Need a power back window.

all things considered still a great truck. my wie and kids had a subaru impreza rear end them at a light, lady fell asleep .barely a scratch and a safe family and didnt even hurt the lady sleeping! we have a lot of snow and it loved it with the help of nordmans (nokian snows wrlds best the fins) |

A good all-purpose vehicle and you can't beat the nice smooth ride. I like all of the features on my LTZ AV, but a vehicle of this price should have a telescopic steering column to allow a more comfortable driving position. Handles good, tows good, rides great, decent gas mileage for a vehicle of this size. |

I love the avalanche. This is my third. I've had an 03, 05, now the 07. I have done the quick change many times and am amazed as to what it carries. The towing is excellent also. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche?

fuel economy is 15% below the sticker 15/20mpg.Needs improved leather seats on the LTZ especially. the bed could be a little deeper as cargo often hits the release levers. 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche Review:

Love the new design of the exterior over the previous '02 model that i had. The 8/4 cylinder engine sounds promising with fuel prices continuing to climb. Cons: How would you improve 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche?
Did not like the center console compared to my '02. aAso liked the push button 4 wheel drive controls on my '02 and where are my coin holders? The fake wood trim on the dash doesn't need to look sooo fake. 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche Review:

More features (digital cellular service for OnStar, beter sound system, navigation, etc.). The brakes are a big improvement over the 2002 I had previously (they always seemed "mushy"). Cons: How would you improve 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche?
Remote start range is a problem as mentioned by another reviewer. Inside of the tailgate is easily scratched painted sheetmetal, not the more rugged composite that the bed is made of (and like my '02 tailgate was). 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche Review:
Definitely an upgrade over the 2002 Avalanche I had previoulsy. There are a few things I liked about the older truck, but most of these are small design details (like how the console opens) and are not a big deal. Gas mileage is a little lower than I had hoped, but realistically you don't buy a truck like this for the mileage. That said, my mileage has been improving as it breaks-in (and the electronic mpg "gauge" shows a bit lower mpg than if you actually fill it up and calculate the mileage). The 4/8 cylinder system does seem awfully conservative, meaning that it switches back to 8 cylinders many times when I don't think its really necessary. |

Previous models had a firmer ride with much less chance of bottoming-out. It is supposed to be a 4WD truck, but GM has changed the ride such that off-road is out of the question. Front-end clearance is abysmal. |
