Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=Poor
Pros: What do you like about your 2007 BMW X5?
Fantastic performance (4.8l V8), impressive handling (Sport Package) and nearly perfect brakes. Most comfortable vehicle I've owned to date (21 way adjustable seats, heated, air conditioned with drivers massage). Nicest sounding factory stereo I've heard (16 speakers, 650Watts w/ Sub- woofers). AWD is stellar, and gives you the freedom to "play" in the snow.
Cons: How would you improve your 2007 BMW X5?
Fuel Econ could be improved, but is not out of the norm for a 350hp V8. I drive is "clunky" to navigate and like many features, not exactly intuitive at times. Headlight lens material degrades over time and is completely cost prohibitive to replace...you have to try to repair it which is never perfect in results.
2007 BMW X5 Review:
I've owned a number of BMWs and love them. Their quirkyness gives them character, which I don't mind. They are not "Toyota reliable", but they also are not " Toyota boring" either. I gladly will invest more in maintenance and attention to my BMW over what a Honda or Toyota requires for the benefit of getting to drive something that inspires. There is a reason BMW has a cult like following of fans, they build cool vehicles that excite people to drive and look at. Would buy another BMW without hesitation, although I would always caution to take your time to find one that has been cared for, you'll thank yourself for doing so.
