My last car was a 1998 Jetta with cloth interior and roll down windows. This car feels so different it's like driving a different make and model. The car is much more comfortable but I do wish the gas mileage were a little better. |

I love the solid handling and firm sporty ride. The performance is great especially 60 to 80 mph! people complain about the Cruise control location, but I have gotten use to it and find quite useful.The interior looks great and feels great. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Volkswagen Jetta?
Twenty more horsepower would be great. I have a sweak in the dash I shouldn't have at 8K mi.. Dealer service is terrible.The lock box made an indentation in the rubber around the glass. I had a seat belt cover break due to my sons car seat, and the dealer said they would order a new one, but never contacted me. 2006 Volkswagen Jetta Review:

TDI fuel economy is super. Love the controls on the steering wheel; interior night lighting in the cabin looks way-cool; fun to drive the manual; sunroof with wind deflector makes it quieter; unbelievably HUGE trunk for the size of the vehicle; it's cute!
