2006 Toyota Tundra Review:
I owned a F-150 crew cab 2004 model, 4.6, but the 4.7 Tundra is more powerful. Even with 5.4 ford F-150 have trouble keeping up with my Tundra. The soft ride and smooth power is amazing. The rear window sliding down is a cool feature. The interior is very comfortable.

Very good acceleration ,its powerful and has a lot of torque. it hauls a lot and the best part is it gets 19 miles to the gallon

Cons: How would you improve 2006 Toyota Tundra?
More horsepower. a bigger engine for the competitors. and bigger more exterior, so it can be bigger ,taller and wider. It also tends to understeer a bit.

Fix the center console. It needs to be higher and padded so you can use it as an arm rest.

2006 Toyota Tundra Review:
Great truck! Very quiet with a super smooth ride. Titan was too loud for me. Toyota's engine is very responsive and really moves the truck. The truck is long so make sure it will fit in your garage if you need it to. I think I am going to keep this one for a long time. Horse power went down in 06 due to some tpye of new calibration according to Toyota.

2006 Toyota Tundra Review:
Compared against F-150, should have bought Ford. Way nicer truck, more of everything i.e. towing, payload, cab choices. thought toyota would hold up to the pounding. not even close. what a piece. bad trans.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Toyota Tundra?

Cons: How would you improve 2006 Toyota Tundra?
Gas mileage. The mileage I am getting is way off what they advertise. I can't believe they would be that far off.

2006 Toyota Tundra Review:
We initally test drove a tundra in 2004 and after test driving all other brands of trucks, we kept coming back to the Tundra. We love it. It is a very comfortable ride and quiet. Very roomy for the family and friends.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Toyota Tundra?
Style, interior, quiet ride.. Engine compartment is roomy and vitals are to check. High rails on cargo bed great for large items.

Cons: How would you improve 2006 Toyota Tundra?
Shift pattern for loaded truck. Have to tap the accelerator to get it to shift up at 45 MPH as engine is winding out around 3500 RPM's. Insulating strips on bottom of door falling off. Need better attachment method..

2006 Toyota Tundra Review:
Truck is nice to have parked in your driveway so that your friends can praise it's style. But don't hook up a 4500lb loaded trailer or put 20 sheets of 1/2" plywood in the back. It will strain and groan to get going, and by the way, don't pass any gas stations when loaded. Otherwise, it is nice and quiet, ride is smooth, takes pumps well, and stops when you need to. I have 4000 miles in 5 weeks, and will be trading it off next month for a truck that I can use for my work

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Toyota Tundra?
Reliability, Reliability, Reliability! Resale value, fun to drive, fit and finish, quality of design and interior, excellent build quality, powerful yet smooth engine.

Cons: How would you improve 2006 Toyota Tundra?
More standard features, (i.e. sunroof, Limited Slip Differential, etc.) and greater storage compartments

2006 Toyota Tundra Review:
I checked out the "Big 3" and neither Ford, Chevy or Dodge could compare to the Tundra's long-term reliability or resale value. I anticipate having this truck between 5-7 years and all the research I conducted led me back to the Tundra. Absolutely no regrets, and I can truly say I made the right choice.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Toyota Tundra?
I like the way the rear seats fold forward to give a tall cargo space and the heater/AC duct that is mounted in the side pillars instead of on the floor. I also like the feature that shuts off the headlights if the key is in the lock position and the drivers door is opened-can't leave the lights on.

Cons: How would you improve 2006 Toyota Tundra?
Adding a fan and seperate controls to the rear HVAC ducts would be nice. More substantial cup holders in the dash.

2006 Toyota Tundra Review:
I am very pleased wth the Toyota Tundra. It rides like a large sedan and has the smoothest transmission I have ever driven. It is usually not possible to tell when it shifts other than watching the tachometer. The acceleration is excellent. The seats are extremely comfortable and the rear seats are as comfortable, roomy, and solidly supporting as the front seats.

2006 Toyota Tundra Review:
This truck is my 3rd Toyota. I have had zero problems with them. Ever. The mileage is good, considering. The ride is sweet, but you know you're in a truck. The power sliding rear window is a wonderful idea. The truck is large enough to handle anything I would need, but it not so oversize that parking and negotiating is an issue. The fit and finish tops as is Toyota's reputation holds. Power is there when needed and the tranny is smooth. Styling is not "gotta have it," but it grows on you. This is the last truck I will buy. Period.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Toyota Tundra?
My favorite thing about my Tundra is the smooth ride and luxurious interior. Another thing I like about my Tundra is its easy to drive demonator. It has more payload than a Nissan Titan or Silverado. These are only a couple of my favorite features in my Tundra. I also like the idea of a bedliner yes.

Cons: How would you improve 2006 Toyota Tundra?
Needs more towing and horsepower with a bigger V8 plant. Also needs more torque and off road capability. The Tundra should be more like the Titan but more payload capacity. Other wise the Tundra is a great truck. If Toyota makes these improvments to the Tundra they will crush the compition. So go Toy.

2006 Toyota Tundra Review:
My 2006 Toyota Tundra is a great truck. It is much easier to drive than a F-150. It has a super charged 282 horsepower. With a 7100 pound towing capacity. It will deliver about 325 pounds torque. This truck is incredibly smooth. One thing the Tundra lacks is towing and horsepower. I hope to drive out my Tundra to at least 100000 miles. Then I will trade it in for a 07 Tundra truck
