Pros: What do you like about 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? The beautiful styling--I have the look and feel of a Lexus and have paid for a Toyota. Fit and finish inside the car is beautiful as well, with the leather interior and cool dash. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? The passenger seat needs to be electric and rear visibility is difficult. Also, it's impossible to rest my arm on the door while driving--something I love to do. 2006 Toyota Camry Solara Review: Beautiful car--Toyota dependability and beautiful looks too. I've heard the last year for them is 2007--hope not. They're nice cars.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? Styling, interior appointments, comfort Cons: How would you improve 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? Automatic cover for convertible top when down, manual now. Power passenger seat(available on Camry sedan). More responsive accelleration. Ability to remove rear headrest or make '07's available at cost (driving hazard as they are) 2006 Toyota Camry Solara Review: Overall very well built car but needs a few more refinements. '07 came out less than 30 days after I bought '06 and dealer said he wasn't aware(bull) and I would have waited and bought '07 obviously.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? Everything. The 4 cyl obviously is more sluggish than the V6 but considering it is a 4 and the mileage I get, I think it is excellent. Those who complain about the lack of power with the 4 cyl should have purchased the V6- didn't you people test drive prior to purchasing???? Cons: How would you improve 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? The rear visibility is a bit obscured but that is due to styling, so take it easy until you get used to your "new" blind spots... I do wish the radio and clock/information center would have the awesome blue lighting that the dash instrument panel has, rather than the green which really doesn't match (I didn't notice this prior to purchase because I had not test drove it at night, however it would not have affected my decision to purchase). 2006 Toyota Camry Solara Review: Great car! I have had it for 4 weeks now and am very satisfied. Of course, I had a 1998 Camry prior to this one so I've been "sold" on Toyota all along! The '98 had a 2.2 L 4 cyl which I was satisfied with and this '06 Solara's 2.4 L definitely has more "pep" to it.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? Comfort of the seats, huge trunk, heated seats, smooth and quiet drive Cons: How would you improve 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? Larger rear window with top up for better visability; automatic cover for when the top is down, but don't take away from the trunk space. 2006 Toyota Camry Solara Review: I was finally done with the minivan stage and wanted a convertible, but still needed trunk space, which no convertibles had. Not only does this car look and handle great, but it is so practical. The back seat is completely comfortable and you can not believe what I can get in that trunk - it's huge! The only thing you sacrifice for trunk space is the convertible cover. It doesn't have the nice automatic covers like more expensive cars, but space more than makes up for it. The only negative about the car is poor visibility in the rear with the top up. Very difficult to see backing up.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? The easy to lower convertible top, the comfortable driver's seat, the radio controls on the steering wheel and the remote trunk opener. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? The rear window is too small and I am concerned about safety for this reason. The noise from the passenger side is really loud (sounds like the window is open) and the hesitation on pick up is annoying and according to the dealer, standard for this model. 2006 Toyota Camry Solara Review: After reseraching many convertibles, I decided on the Solara based on my satisfaction with my 2001 Camry which I intended to keep as my work vehicle, however Hurricane Katrina claimed that car. The Solara convertible was so comfortable on the test drive that I knew this is the car I want.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? Love the ease of using the convertible top and the up/down speed. I can put the top up while sitting at a red light. Love the handling, quickness, speed and overall performance. Fuel economy is not sacrificed for performance which is a definite plus. Gets lots of attention from the general public. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? Needs lighted switches for night driving, especially switches for the top & "all" windows buttons. Cup holders need to actually be functional. Better view through rear window when top is up is a must. Navigation should not preclude available 6-disc changer. Heated seats need more than 1 setting. 2006 Toyota Camry Solara Review: This car is fun to drive, primarily with the top down. With the top up it is tough to see anything behind you. But I love the handling, fuel economy, navigation, quality, ease of using the convertible top and the silence when the top is up.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? convertible top!! overall looks sharp Cons: How would you improve 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? back head rests 2006 Toyota Camry Solara Review: This is my first convertible and I love it! The rear headrests are intrusive but you get use to it. I put back-up sensores on the car. It seems to be a bit sluggish from 0-20 mph.

2006 Toyota Camry Solara Review: We have owned three beetle convertibles, two Porsche 911's, a Mercedes E320 Convertible, countless jeep CJ's and wranglers all for the same reason, to enjoy top down motoring. We rented a Solara convertible for a ten day tour of Arizona and bought one immediately. We have enjoyed the car for six months and would not be without one. We can afford to drive whatever we want. We neither want nor covet any other car period. OK, a 911 Turbo Cabriolet would be nice, but we no longer want the care and feeding burden. The value, fun, space and expected reliability of this car make it unbeatable. We are at real motoring peace with this perfect ride in our stable. Rent one for a couple of days

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? Driver seat comfort, large trunk, cool styling, moonroof, safety features Cons: How would you improve 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? Cannot use satellite radio, would like more elbow room, passenger seat is not powered, stuff falls all over in trunk, some buttons (like defrost) hard to see and reach w/o losing focus on driving-- 2006 Toyota Camry Solara Review: Have driven over 60,000 miles in less than 2 years. Vehicle is fun, lean on fuel, untimely style, quick, efficient, and safe. Am completely pleased. Large trunk, good sound system, excellent air flow, and comfortable for the driver. Had to replace windshield due to road hazard (expected with hi mileage). As long as you keep serviced, this vehicle won't let you down.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? Quick "automatic" top, beautiful interior, comfort, roomy back seat, fast and powerful, Cons: How would you improve 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? Do something to improve the driver's rear view. The small window coupled with the rear headrests make you rely heavily on your side mirrors. 2006 Toyota Camry Solara Review: My first car was an old MGB convertible and I decided at 35 it was time for another convertible. I knew that it was going to be a hard change after becoming used to a four door sedan. When I test drove the Solara I knew I had found the one. There is actually room in the backseat for two tall adults and the trunk is a decent size for my shopping trips to the mall. My favorite part is how the top goes down at the push of a button in less than 15 seconds. The SLE interior is very luxurious and the hidden features of the navigation system (maintenance schedule, calendar, etc.) are very nice. There aren't many around here so people are always asking me what it is and telling me how good it looks.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? Heated seats and ease of handling. The moon roof is nearly as good as a convertible! My husband loves the "rich" interior looks and the lumbar support. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? Memory settings for the driver seat is my only wish right now 2006 Toyota Camry Solara Review: We researched a lot of cars and although I really wanted the convertible at first, the visibility was terrible. At 5' tall, I am able to adjust the seat so that I have no problems with comfort. I do agree that memory settings for the driver seat would make this car complete. (My husband is 6'2") The rear seat is big and the trunk is much larger than the convertible, plus the 60/40m split seat behind that folds down to access the trunk is great for skis or a random trip to the hardware store. It combined my wishes for a sporty looking car with a great luxury car that my husband wanted. It is close to perfect!

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? The standard audio system is quite nice. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? That whole thing with the rain dripping on you has to be fixed.... 2006 Toyota Camry Solara Review: It's a pretty car, I'll give it that. But that's not enough to make this a car to love. The 4-cyl engine doesn't have enough power, I worry about getting enough acceleration to merge on to the highways. The car just feels a bit "clunky" to me. Oh, and don't crack the windows if it's just stopped raining, you'll get drenched; the water pours in....

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? Rich interior materials and design. Fun to drive Moonroof Standard alloy wheels and fog lights Cons: How would you improve 2006 Toyota Camry Solara? Better build quality - it's Toyota for pete's sake. Standard in-dash CD changer on entry model 2006 Toyota Camry Solara Review: You'd expect more from Toyota. After a month check engine light came on and the dealer determined that cylinder 3 misfires (it had erratic idling and would not accelerate properly). All they did was reset the computer. 2 weeks after they did it, check engine light came on again. Feels like the same problem. The car has 1400 miles on it. Also the door does not always close right away. This is due to the fact that there is no frame around the glass. Also even when it does close, there is excessive noise from the wind when driving at 50 mph. You have to pull the window down and then close it again for the wind to go away. Taking it to the dealer again tomorrow...
