I think it's very sensitive in the outside. Bumpers should be stronger.

Front lights were replaced few times, there is a problem to get them in and out.
Bushings were replaced 3 years ago and recently we discovered similar noise.

The gas mileage when you get to a half a tank is awful! Power stinks.
It bucks a lot with the transmission.
No pick up.
Cup holders in the back would be nice.

The car has a pleasant appearance, and feels quite heavy

The steering needs improved in addition to replacing the bushings for the stabilizer bar. It always pulls to the right. The fan assembly in the dash had to be replaced within a year. The car tends to not start at times. The interior scuffs very easily. The exterior paint needs more coats scratches very easily with light touch.

Actually at this point I would not purchase or recommend purchasing a Subaru. To this point I have had the car since November 2006 and have had it back to the dealer multiple times.

stop hesitation when driving on an incline, automatic emergency brake release, locking device in the rear cargo area, better lit cargo area, larger rear windowdoor locks automatically engage when placed in gear{door locks}

I traded a 1997 Toyota FourRunner for a 2006 Tribeca and the quality is ever better. Best ride on any vehicle I have ever owned. The gas mileage is good, too.

Everything except the transmission/engine. It won't pull a hill and they are telling me that thats the way it is. They say it must be shifted manually to go up a hill. Its a piece of junk!

Put a real transmission in it that operates like an automatic transmission. For the way it runs it should run on regular gas.
