That it is sporty and fun to drive, yet it gets very good mileage. It has a tight yet smooth feel. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Pontiac G6?
When I'm out of town and have a rental, or use someone else's car, it feels SO great to drive my G6 again! I honestly don't have any complaints 'bout this car! 2006 Pontiac G6 Review:

Donot put the panoramic sunroof in these cars. They have to much air noise and leaks water. I have taken it in over seven times for repairs on the roof but they cannot fix the problems. 2006 Pontiac G6 Review:

I would design it so that when you have your back window down you are not deafened by an extremely loud roaring noise. The Pontiac dealership says it is the aerodynamics of the car and there is nothing they can do. |

Just bought an 07 G6 Value Leader - the base model. I am very happy. With rebates, the car cost $15,500 - that's alot of car for the money!
I think GM has made great strides...I've rented many GM vehicles in the past and they always had TERRIBLE seats. The seats in this G6 are world class, the BEST I've EVER sat in - they fit me perfectly !
Time will tell if the reliability is there.
Great stereo, quite ride. Power steering is great. Haven't pushed the car yet, still breaking it in, but so far I am very impressed! (I've owned all the Japanese and German brands, including Audi.)
I think GM and Ford deserve a good look and more Americans should really consider helping GM and Ford at this time - they really ARE trying to get to world class - and they are nearly there! Think about it - each one point of market share for GM and Ford is worth lot's of great paying jobs for Americans - and the profits STAY HERE! Let's not throw away such an important industry...think about it next time you here there are another 20,000 layoffs - where are all those people going to find good jobs?
OK - anyway - the G6 is a VERY GOOOODDD car - it stands on many merits! Check it out. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Pontiac G6?
A few small beefs:
1) The instruments sometimes have a strange glare during the day.
2) Trunk is somewhat hard to open from the outside.
3) The suspension is a little hard sometimes, but is "sporty" so that's the trade-off. |

peppy engine, great brake system, euro-look design, xm radio!, functional interiors, nice wheels, nearly perfect, but... Cons: How would you improve 2006 Pontiac G6?
quality interior material (need cushioned); when opens trunk, lid should raise more, change 4-5 gear ratios (kills power/torque), when sunroof opens and windows down, there is too much turbulence/resonance inside the car (never seen,feel that in any other car), manual upshift time is too long, please modify sun visor (too close to driver/passanger face!!!) 2006 Pontiac G6 Review:

i bought a g6 sedani like it except driving 50 and above ..it seems to wander due to road surface and when you first start to move the steering wheel its very stiff to start..i dont know if i have a problem with the alignment or something is wrong with the electric assist or its just me..has anyone experienced this? |
