Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? performance, crispy manual shift, quiet engin, GPS is beautiful and simple to use, nice 3rd car in the house. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? GPS software can use some update. 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Review: The baby Benz is a perfect 3rd car in the house. You need a station wagon or minivan for the need of group transportation. Your wife needs a boring sedan to go to work. You can drive the station wagon to work, or drive the SLK if you feel like. It has great performance. Engin sound is not as addictive as BMW, but better than Lexus. The tire cling to the road like a cat with sharp claw. Manual shift is great. Engin has lots of low end power, you can accerate to 70mph without the engine revv pass 3500 rpm.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? Exterior appearance. Performance. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? The isx-speed is kind of notchy, especially shifting from first to second. There are some body rattles on rough roads. For a car in this price range, some of the options should be standard. 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Review: I really, really like my car, despite the points I made above. I have driven the competing Porsche and BMW products, and I still prefer the SLK 350.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? hardtop convertible. Exterior looks. Performance. Interior comfort, particularly considering size of car. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? Lumbar support. All wheel drive. Complimentary service at scheduled intervals. Take CD changer out of glove box. Make power seats standard. 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Review: I haven't had the car that long, but so far am very pleased. The car drives great, is very comfortable inside, which was a bit of a surprise, considering the size of the car. The hardtop convertible is very cool. I would make power seats and the remote keyfab to lower and raise the top standard. Quite surprising they are not for a Mercedes that is far from cheap. I've read all over the place that the cupholders are not good, but frankly, I find them perfectly fine. They're better than the ones in my Isuzu Trooper, which obviously is a much bigger car.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? The SLK 350 offers the high level of performance I look for, coupled with the creature comfort my most frequent passenger, my wife, demands. No longer am I resigned to the numbness of her Lexus when we're out together, as she is willing to take a spin in the SLK 350, something she would pass on with my prior car, a BMW Z4. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? The standard sound system could use a slight upgrade in speaker dynamics. 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Review: Equipped with ample power, especially of the broad torquey sort, coupled to a 7-speed automatic, the SLK 350 surges ahead when pressed, yet can ease back into a smooth, comforting cruise. Grippy handling, but lacking the harshness that plagues 2-seaters in this class, the SLK allows you to arrive feeling fresh even after hours on the road, rather than battered and investigating the cost of a kidney belt. The folding hardtop is definitely cool to watch, but MBZ has come up with a design the saves you a decent amount of trunk space with the top down, and if space is the premium for the weekend, it can be configured to maximize the trunk at the expense of keeping the top up. Handling is imble and reactive, without a sense of living on the edge. Braking is sure and withourt noticeable fade. Interior controls are at easy reach, intuitive and not overly complex or fussy. The instrumentation is simple, although the lighting level seems low at times. MBZ has mastered the art of eliminating reflective glare, something BMW may want to take a cue from. All in all, this is a driver's car that doesn't require the sacrifice of creature comforts.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? My favorite features would include the style, handling, power, and good gas mileage. The power hardtop is great, and the upgraded sound system is wonderful. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? I would like a little more lumbar support in both seats, and not be blasted by the heating or cooling on the auto setting. 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Review: I am 6 feet 6 inches, and this is the car that I found that not only I could sit in with comfort, but have a ball driving. This car is blessed with good power, very good handling, and an eye catching look. It comes with a nice standard package, but a few of the upgrades can make it special. I looked at the Boxter, and Vette, but couldn't sit in either with any comfort. Last but not least, the power hardtop on the Benz is awsome.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? Retractable hard top Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? A little more storage room, and more passenger leg room. 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Review: A really fun car. Great handling with a smooth, powerful engine. There seem to be some rattles coming from behind the seats that others have complained about too.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? Remote roof control, automatic transmission, handling. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? Minor items: Rear view mirror slightly obstructs view between 2-3 o'clock. Horn needs to be hit hard to sound. 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Review: After many Acura NSX leases, I came back to the SLK 350 of '06. It's less expensive, but more comfortable, and I've already had comments from strangers. The diamond silver (baby blue) with ash interior is a knockout. Spend extra on the remote roof control and wood trim interior. The automatic transmission is very smooth. Remember to tell your dealer to skip their advertising on the car. It looks better without it.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? Heat scarf. Stereo. Performance. Beverage holder is by A/C vent - keeping beverages cold. 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Review: Great car! Fun to drive. Convertible is open in less than 25 seconds. Heat scarf in head-rest lets you keep warm with the top down when the air is cool. Don't lease it - do the math and buy it!

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? I thought the air-scarf sounded gimmicky until I realized how great it was for night time, top down driving. The hard-top makes this a 3+ season car. The tight turning radius, amazing agility and the slammin' brakes are as impressive as the safety features I hope never to see. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? The slide out cup holder blocks the dash air vents. The two compartment center storage flap jams when you lean against it. The remote roof opener only works from immediate range. 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Review: I spend over an hour each way commuting five times a week. My SLK350 is perfectly suited to handle bumper to bumper, open highway, and pleasure cruising. Top down, windows up it's nearly as quiet as top up. This car also saved me from a near collision with two deer late one night with strong night vision and panic-sure maneuverability at 65+ mph. The cockpit layout is very ergonomic and the controls easy to use without taking eyes from the road. I have liked many previous cars, but the SLK350 is my first-time love affair.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? Retractable top is great. Love the Diamond Silver color. Comfortable to drive on long trips (I have had the car for 5 months and have 12,000 miles already!!) Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? Cup holder needs to be lowered (In a very awkward place). Many road chips on the front grille (maybe a stronger coating could be put on the front of the car. 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Review: Great looking car that turns heads. Lots of great comments about the design of the car. I had a 350Z before this car and always wanted a convertible but didn't want a rag top and didn't like the design of the older SLK's. The new SLK350 was the answer with design and the retractable top. Great handling on mountain roads and on the freeways.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? Clearly, the retractable, automatic hardtop is great. It was the deciding factor between the SLK and the BMW Z4. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? Large blind spot when top is up. Requires careful use of side mirrors. 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Review: I just got a new SLK280 a few days ago. So far it has been near perfect. I was concerned about MB quality based on what I've read but so far so good. The car has great performance, styling, comfort and even good gas mileage. I'm fairly short and the Comfort Package with the 8 way power seats allowed for a wide range of adjustment. I restored and drove vintage British sportscars for 15 years. This car is as much fun to drive and seems to be very high quality. Styling is great. I'll write another review in six months or so and let you know if there have been any problems. By the way, I got the 280 instead of the 350 because it has plenty of power, better gas mileage and a $4K lower price.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? Hardtop convertible Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? Engine! Get things working! 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Review: Although a great car to look at, you will generally have a Kia Sorento Loan Vehicle as it spends so long in the shop. Engine & transmission problems, roof locking down, ESP malfunctions & generally everything you can think of. Great styling & fun when it goes but way too unreliable for the $50K price tag. Wait for the X2 model before trying!

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? Hard-top convertible, handling, the sound of the engine, the beauty of the 2006 model. 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Review: I haven't had a car that made me laugh when I drive it since my Triumph in high school. It is beautiful, handles like a dream and is a blast to drive on the open road or in Los Angeles traffic.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? Definitely the hard-top convertible, being able to switch the suspension from Comfort to Sport, the way it handles, the neck and seat warmers, the design of the body of the car Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? The cup holders are in a strange place and take up too much space on the windshield. 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Review: This is the only car I've ever had that makes me laugh when I drive it cause it's just so much fun to drive...and it's so very beautiful. I don't even mind sitting in Los Angeles traffic -- well, except when I'm stuck behind some truck blowing smoke in my face when the top is down. My car is black on black, and I call it "Black Beauty." I especially enjoy the neck warmer so that I can take advantage of the hard-top convertible even when it gets cooler at night. If you don't want attention, this car isn't for you cause people sure do notice it. :-)

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? Exterior Styling, Hard top Convertible Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? Improving quality, resale value 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Review: Two weeks after purchasing the car check engine light came on. Dealer could not find any thing wrong when took the car in. Engine check light comes on and off (Not because the gas cap is not tight). Dealer says nothing to worry about. A few days later ESP light came on. After that had problem to turn the car on. Tried to trade in the car that purchased for $60K with less than 800 miles, they offered only $41K.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? The retractable hard top is great. It is so easy just a push of a button. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? There is a large blind spot when the top is up. I have to be very carefully when pulling out. also the cup holders are very flimsy. 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Review: I love the car it handles great. It has a lot of power & great pick up speed which makes it great for getting in & out of traffic. It also turns on a dime. For a 2 seater it is very comfortable. I love the car!

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? Hard top convertible. Eye catching exterior design Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class? Brakes, very rough ride in town, blind spot looking right due to RV mirror, space inside - put purse in trunk if two people, cheap dash looks like recycled tires-no wood, power seats useless - nowhere to go, uncomfortable lower back - bring a pillow for road trips, no bells, no whistels for $. 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Review: This is my third Benz in as many years. Had the SLK 320, SL 500, now SLK 350. Unfortunately, I already rear ended a Lincoln Towncar in LA. The anitlock brakes locked and I slid 300 feet going 45 mph. Mercedez denies this but the skid marks proved the brakes locked. Did zero damage to the Lincoln but $10K damage, 6 weeks in shop, to my SLK. The front is entirely plastic save the hood, but that plastic is incredibly pricey. No engine damage. Later going 10 miles per hour and slammed brakes and skidded. This car does not want to stop, too light. Be careful - stay back. Tried to upgrade to Nav system, 6 disk CD, and iPod integration. ALL are factory, no upgrades.
