| Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class?
I just feel like a different person when I get into this car, put the top down and steal some time to myself!
The DESIGN is something to die for. The first one I saw was in Las Vegas and I had to have one. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class?
I bought mine in the blue that is really silver but I wish I had purchased black.
The cup holders really suck, but I can live with that! 2006 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Review:

watch out for the cup holders and electronic parts on this car. Especially the design of its cup holders, any cups with liquid could be spilled into the GPS unit, that results in minimum of $7000 to fix it. Mercedes is not responsible for its ill design on the cup holders. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class?

the cup holders should be removed from GPS command unit. Mecedes-Benz should Re-calls on all models with that design. |

Keyless Go Parktronic Comfort Package - includes ventilated seats (they really work), massage function, intricate control of seat comfort nad position. Trim Package - The wood trimmed steering wheel feels great on your hands and lends a first class feel to the interior. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class?
I wish the A pillars, interior top and sunvisors were avaialble in Alcantara seude as an option. Only real complaint is that the sunvisors seem cheap for a car of this cost - odd place for the manufacturer to save money. 2006 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Review:
Besides the world class styling this car is also so smooth and powerful. The 302 hp engine and 7 speed automatic tranmission effortlessly propels the car down the road with such authority and grace. The convertible top works as advertised - a smooth mechanical ballet that takes you from quiet hardtop coupe to convertible in 16 seconds. The exterior and interior finish are well done and the entire feel of the car seems so tight and well engineered. The navigation system is easy to use and has a points of interest function that is very handy. The 2006 model year includes Sirius satellite radio as a no charge option and I'm finding it to be a real bonus - incredible amount of choice. |

Better workmanship and higher quality of interior materials. 2006 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Review:
To purchase a 100+k car, you would think that it would be devoid of cheap plastics. Think again. I'm also hearing fluctuations in the engine idle already, and I haven't broken 7K miles yet. Yes, it's still the status symbol to have, but one that is not as well put together as I'd hoped. I'm going back to the SC430 before I take an even bigger hit with depreciation. If I listen quietly enough, I can hear the dollar bills dripping under the car. |

Its a small car so there isnt much head room or leg room - other than that, excellent! 2006 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Review:
My father bought this car and I simply fell in love with it. The interior design is just beautiful and the exterior is head turning gorgeous. |
