Pros: What do you like about 2006 Lexus GS-Series?
HID headlamps
AWD
smooth ride
excellent transmission
wheel design is very classy on AWD

Cons: How would you improve 2006 Lexus GS-Series?
The interior LED courtesy lights are feeble at best. The run flat tires flat spot after 3 days causing vibration for first 10 miles. The small light bulbs in the high beam headlight bezel that are somewhat of a running light are not LED so when you turn on the low beam HID headlights the low wattage running light is standard issue and looks brown along with the driving lights. Shame on Lexus for not doing all LED on a 50k car.

I would buy again with the 3.5 in the AWD instead of my 3.0. The 3.0 engine is very noisy at idle but redeems itself with very good hwy mileage.

The ride feels like you're on a cloud. We drove down to the Keys in our Lexus 460 LS extended and felt like we just floated on air.
It is the most magnificent car I have ever owned.

Great gas mileage. The smart key is great. The interior is very classy and quiet. The external look os the car is stunning.

Not much head room. Even an inch more of head room would be great.

We bought this car about a month ago and absolutely love it. The shape is wonderful. It is very quiet and powerful and drives very well. The driver's seat is very comfortable. I think that Consumer Report is way off on their review of this car. The paint job is fabulous. This is our fourth Lexus and we have always had very good reliability from these cars.

2006 Lexus GS-Series Review:
This is by far the best car I've ever owned. The ride is smooth as silk and the responsiveness is top notch. The interior is impeccable and luxurious without being overstated. I've read other reviews regarding the hide away panel with the less frequently used controls and actually like it as it keeps the dashboard from being overly cluttered. The navigation system is easy to use and quite intuitive. The Mark Levinson sound system is one of the tops in any car I've owned before.
