Great Luxury features and ride.
Interior space is great.
If the electrical and mechanical engineering were as good as the design team, this vehicle would be outstanding. Should be engineered and assembled somewhere other than UK.

In the shop! In the shop! In the shop! Extremely poor build quality and shabby engineering. Transmission control module sits under the battery and shorts out.

The nice mix of safety, comfort, luxury and performance in "of standard" driving condition. I like the modest way of presenting rough luxury in an all round vehicle like this. We love the configuration of flat floor when second and third row are down and theatre style setup when they are up.

Cons: How would you improve 2006 Land Rover LR3?
When you can choose the HSE option that has it all there is nothing more to ask for. The next would be the possibility to go amphibious. Gas mileage yes, but we just sold our V6 Explorer and do just as well, if not better, with the LR3.

Have gone through 3 sets of tires and only 53K miles on the vehicle, now need another set!
Should have better tire mileage. Also, had been in the shop more than any vehicle I have ever owned.

I would definitly make the front and rear pads of the brakes last longer than 11,300 miles.

we really love our LR3, it's great for family trips and off-road it's amazing. However, it needs better acceleraton, more cargo room, adjustable back-rests on second row and much better gas milage!!!
