I am sad to say I do not love this car. The cargo space is excellent and we have had any trips to home depot without a problem. It feels unsafe when I drive it in wet conditions. |

I love the way this Jeep handles, drives and rides.
The ride is really remarkable for a smaller suv!

You can definitely improve on the gas mileage.
The seats mark very easily! They will even leave marks from water! You have to be really careful as to not to spill anything on them. 2006 Jeep Liberty Review:
Overall, I would definitely rate my Jeep as a great vehicle. If something happened tomorrow to it, I would be out buying another one! |

Like the small size, and that it's very easy to see out of, also never had any problems getting around in the snow. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Jeep Liberty?
They need to do something about the fabric on the seats, they stain very easily and are impossible to clean.
Window controls in center console, takes some getting use to. |

I fell in love with this Jeep when I first drove it. I bought it and I love it. I was a little disappointed to find out after I bought it that doesn't have 4WD. This should be standard on a Jeep!! But it's still pretty sweet for light off roading. Driving it is a lot of fun and the stereo system is awesome. Overall I really like it even though it doesn't have 4WD. But I don't really need it. |

I like the leather interior and the "extra's" (temperature, streamline radio, how many miles till empty and until next service. digital milage, etc), electric seats on both the driver and passenger side. I like the all over look. Breaks seem to be good. Tinted windows and keyless entry. It's easy to lay the back seats down.
The drive is smooth and the engine is quiet. I ran over a curb with ease. Stereo system is really good.
Engine is nice and roomy. Every part is accessible. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Jeep Liberty?
Gas milage could be better, I would have liked to have back seat cup holders and an ashtray. 2006 Jeep Liberty Review:
I've been really happy with this vehicle thus far. I asked around before I bought it and everyone who owns a liberty (or any Jeep for that matter), really is satisfied. I spoke with a mechanic and he said that he rarely has ever seen someone bring in a Jeep. |

Good off road ability. Great turning radius for the size. Great handling for a good size SUV. After my wife and I got use to the center mounted window controls, we wonder why they all aren't like that. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Jeep Liberty?

I have to say, that there is alot of space inside my Jeep. It drives and handles well. Other than that, I am not to satisfied with my vechile. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Jeep Liberty?
4 recalls in one year, and at this time my key is stuck in the ignition, and the dealer says wait for the part to come in. And will they give me another car in the meantime or if my car is stolen? NO! 2006 Jeep Liberty Review:
I changed all 4 brake pads within that year, now I am a single mom that has a job, but I don't travel that far. To this day, and it's been about one and a half months, my brakes still squeak. When I went change my oil at the Dealers, he told me he would look at it, well, he claims it fine. I will be getting rid of this Jeep, and pay more for what I really want. Something that I wont have to keep bringing in for recalls every 4-6 months. |

So far hardly nothing. The only benefit is the 4WD and the 6 cyl. engine. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Jeep Liberty?
6 recalls in less than a year? That is way beyond acceptable. From all the consumer reports available it appears that Jeep just wanted to jump into the lucrative SUV market but did not want to spend the time or finances to make a dependable and reliable SUV that people would feel safe in. The cup holders are right in front of the power windows switches which are located on the console between the drivers and passengers seats. This is a very stupid design. Any accidental spill from a cup will more than likely cause the power windows to no long work. 2006 Jeep Liberty Review:
Even after fixing one recall the brakes still have the squeaking problem when it first moves in the morning. Dampness they claim. After the ball joint recall I still don't trust the steering. The size of the truck is nice. I will never buy another Jeep and hope to get rid of this one as soon as possible. I paid a lot of money for it and it has a lousy resale value. I am very disappointed with this vehicle. |

Just about everything needs to be improved on it. Gas mileage is awful. The quality overall is poor. Not a norm for Jeep I am very disappointed and I have owned other jeeps but thins one was not worth buying. 2006 Jeep Liberty Review:
