tire choice 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Review:
Just drove 1600 miles to Colorado pulling a heavly loaded trailor (about 3,000#) and the jeep loaded to the max. Used the tow option all the which uses the first four gears and lowers the ratio. Averaged 14.9 driving 70-75 including mountains with no effort at all. I kept forgetting the trailer was behind me.
Not pulling a load, I have averaged about 19+ the first 3,000 and now with about 8,000 I get better than 23 on the highway with the 5.7 Hemi and that is great!
We go Geocaching all over the Rockies on steep, difficult BLM roads with ease and comfort.
This is a great car! |
