Style.
Handles well in winter with the 4 w. drive. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Hyundai Tucson?
Gas mileage sucks. Could be a lot better. Had a Olds Cutlass that got 30 on the highway and 27 in the city.
This gets 15 in the city and barely 20 on the highway. 2006 Hyundai Tucson Review:
Would not buy another one. I bought it brand new, had it in for recalls and issues more times than my Olds, which I owned for 12 years. All I brought my Olds in for was maintenance. This is in all the time.
I thought it would be a better car....:( |

This thing is solid. There's hardly anything to add. I've got the GL with the base CD player, which sounds awesome. Ride is smooth, and I like the safety features including the stability control and traction control which came standard. Additionally, I got mine for less than $17,000 out the door. Keep an eye out for rebates. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Hyundai Tucson?
Body seems to hop a little when you hit bumps. It's not difficult to control, it just has a slightly disconnected feel between the body and suspension on some bumps. 2006 Hyundai Tucson Review:

Make it even more noise free. I can still hear noise from outside while driving. Increase the seat size so seat extends till the back of my knee. 2006 Hyundai Tucson Review:
Less than 10,300 miles and 1 year later the 2006 Tucson makes a squeeling sound upon cold start. We have been told it is belts that need to be replaced. I am dissapointed that a brand new car will have these issues. |

The gas mileage leaves a lot to be desired! Mine consistantly gets 17.4 mpg regardless of how we drive or baby it between fuel stops. I feel that this is a gross miss representation of what the sticker says. The dealer told me to drive it 10,000 miles and it would improve. Right! At this milestone... it did not improve one bit. |

I love the way it drives. I love the turning radius. I like the way it looks, and the design of the interior. I love that the dash is low, and that it gives more space by doing so. I really like that it has lots of foot area. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Hyundai Tucson?
I would put some kind of air filter in the AC/heater to filter out unwanted smells. I would also include some kind of noise reduction. Even though this vehicle is quieter on the inside than others I think it could be quieter even still. 2006 Hyundai Tucson Review:

Gas mileage. Oil leak at less than 200 miles. Check engine light at less than 250 miles. I have had the car a little over 3 weeks and it has been in the service dept at the dealership twice. 2006 Hyundai Tucson Review:
After having my new Tucson for 5 days I discovered an oil leak. Took to the dealership and they fixed it. A couple days later the check engine light came on. Will take in tomorrow for them to check it. I am so far not very happy with me purchase. |
