Provide a more sports sedan tuned suspension rather than a mushy soft under carriage. 2006 Hyundai Azera Review:
For a very cost conscious consumer the Azera provides comfort, above average creature comforts and performance; however, the suspension and electrical systems on this year model are sub-standard and need to be addressed. Hopefully the newer Azeras and the Genesis models have addressed and corrected these unfortunate issues. |

Bought 2006 Azera w/19000 miles on it one year ago. We had rheostat replaced four months ago and now having same problems. Headlights dimming, dash lights flicker, AC and fan quit. It took three trips to Hyundai dealership to get it fixed in February 2009. Now, ready to leave on vacation and we can't drive it as lights almost go out. 2006 Hyundai Azera Review:

Suspension is too soft but Hyundai has made adjustment on 2008 model. |

Mechanical quality 2006 Hyundai Azera Review:
Poor. I purchased my 2006 Hundai Azera and have had to have the air conditioner compressor replaced, the fuel injector, spark plug, entire computer, and the car issues are still not resolved. Hyundai has not been supportive. The reply from their CSR, was the repairs do not cost me anything .My dealer asked them to buy back the care, but they refused, as the number of miles. I purchased the Azera for the warranty, but I have had my car 9 months and it has been in the shop for over 30 days in the last 40 days. |

It is ironic that the three cars to the right side of this web site(shoppers of Hyundai Azera also consider these other models ...) shows Camry, Accord and Altima. The Azera doesn't compete against these cars! the Sonata does. The Azera competes (favorably) against the Acura TL, BMW 325, Infinity G35, and the Toyota Avalon. all these cars are $10-15k higher. |

Styling, Fit and Finish inside and out. Drivetrain seems exceptionally smooth and responsive. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Hyundai Azera?
The ride responds to every little bump in the road. It is very uncomfortable. I have 1800 miles on the car and have not gotten more than 16 MPG with mostly in town driving. 2006 Hyundai Azera Review:

Add a "headlights on" indicator into dash. I have everything on "automatic" and can't tell when the headlights are on or off and it is too dark in the cabin to see the knob on steering wheel. |
