2006 Honda Pilot

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Honda Pilot?
Space inside- my wife and I have had our Pilot for 2 years and we have two small children 4 and 2. We have had the two kids, in their seats with two other people plus ourselves, with the double stroller and snacks and never been uncomfortable. I'm a big guy (6'2") and I've folded the seats down to sleep in the back a couple times and been very comfortable.

DVD Entertainment system- wouldn't have another vehicle without one, we can listen to our music while our kids watch their movies with their head phones on, even on 20 minute rides it's so great to not hear "Mom, Dad? Mom, Dad" every two seconds, and for longer trips it's priceless.

Ride- firm ride, always feels comfortable and the AWD keeps you feeling safe in the winter.

Cons: How would you improve 2006 Honda Pilot?
If I had to be really picky just to give anyone considering the vehicle the best possible review, I'd have to say the fact that there's no Aux port to plug in one's ipod really sucks sometimes; even though there's a 6 disc cd changer in dash it doesn't feel as convenient as plugging the ipod in.
The sound system for a vehicle in this price range is not as good as it should be. If you turn the music up even to three quarters the back speakers bass rattle's so bad (even when bass control is minimal) that you have to turn the radio down..

2006 Honda Pilot Review:
We've had the truck two years, used it a ton under every condition and with two small children and loads of family and friends, and my wife and I swear by this truck.

We just decided to sell it and we thought we would look around at other options. All of the cross overs are too small, all of the minivans lack the style that the Pilot helps us feel so as a result we just purchased the 2010 Pilot and we're stoked to get it.

Overall- can't go wrong with this truck.

There is a ton of room.
I love all the safety features.
Good sound system rear controls for heat air.
It makes a great home if you have to sleep in it.
Comfy ride.

Woo what a piece of crap. My check engine light comes on over anything nothing, my battery dies every other day, it's loser power. I have taken it in but get the run around cause I'm a girl. Worst Honda I've had I don't want another Honda. I'm ruined.

It is good for the entire family to go outside together. Lots of room in the trunk.
Love to drive my pilot. It is a nice drive. We went to California. I was only single driver but I didn't get tired to drive. I liked the long drive. He has very good suspension. Oh amazing ride.

I love the sto n go fold down seats I love the navi an the voice control options the vehicle has a lot of power outlets they've always came in handy nice sound system and preformance is great

The back up camera should have a guide u feature like the mercedes does this back up camera is kinda just a plain view needs upgrade and the leather on the seats needs to be thicker leather honda used thin leather an without constant conditioning it frays easly

It's very roomy. Priced right. Quick acceleration. Drives nice.

Better gas mileage. Light under hood. Auto headlights.A battery that would not die 7 times in 6 months!

2006 Honda Pilot Review:
This vehicle has a lot of safety features although it has let me down a few times in the snow. It totally lacks all "convenience features":what they call auto headlights are NOT, doesn't have a light under the hood, passenger window should have auto button, RV mirror should have auto for bright headlights, etc...the list goes on and on. Everything kills my battery. We've had to turn off all the int. lights but it still happens way too often.

to be able to also toggle backwards through radio stations that are pre-programmed. More comfy rear seats; back-up sensors

It is a great family car, good quality, lots of room, but it sure looks like a car from the 1990's,very much like a square box on wheels! my wife loves it though!

Wiper/gearshift proximity.
Wiper blade travel stop in line of driver vision leaves smudge. Low beam upper periphial light(none)tough on hills
at night!
