The EX-L 4 cylinder has better than adequate power. I commute 100 miles, all highway, per day and with the cruise set at 78 mph, get 30 mpg all the time. The seats are really comfortable and i cannot live with out satelite radio now that I have it. The car is quiet, the engine is smooth and maintainance is almosat non-existent. This is my 2nd Accord (I traded a 2004) and I forsee others in my future. Hopefully my next one will be a V6. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Honda Accord?
Price of the V6 models, the ride is a little bit too stiff and the tries are expensive and don't last more than 30,000 miles (high performace they say). 2006 Honda Accord Review:
This is the best car for the money, $23,000 was what I could negotiate. They hold their value very well and it came with all the options I could reasonably want. |

seems to take road bumps harder than my 1995 honda accord and high way noise is louder. I would make a key hole to open the trunk. |

The gear shift knob and gear shift slot can be more stylish with wood trim or leather to match other interior material. It just a minor point I can find to a car through many years refinement. 2006 Honda Accord Review:
I have this car for about a week with Carbon Bronze and ivory leather that turn many heads on the road. The quality of this car is simply impeccable. The engine is smooth and full of power. You did not step much of the gas even with this four cylinders. With the value of this car, it is comparable to thousands more Accura but with 30+ MPG advangtage. I was originally on the market for a Camry but after inspecting 06 Accord. It was just a no brainer decision. Camry is simply too plain and not very exciting. With comparable equipment Camry, it costs about $2000 more with dealer's attitude, which I do not know where that came from. Overall, you just can not go wrong with this car. |

Safety features. Sound system and steering wheel controls. Height adjustable driver's seat. LED Brake lights w/ third light on trunk lid. Telescoping steering wheel (important for those of us with long legs). Cons: How would you improve 2006 Honda Accord?
The front seats could be a little bigger. I'm 6'1". Ergonomics are very good, but I can't see the top of the speedometer when the steering wheel is in a comforatble position. I don't like digital speedometers, but the speedometer placement in the '06 Civic is great. A wagon model in the US. 2006 Honda Accord Review:
Coming from a large 4x4 truck, this car is a refreshing change. Before my truck, I owned an '88 Accord that I was very attached to, yet reluctantly sold it. That attachement, along with gas prices, the world economy, social responsibilty, etc. is what brought me back to the Accords and Honda. The engine and transmission are butter smooth. The interior is quiet, fairly refined and comfortable. The suspension is taught and the steering precise. I still haven't went through the first tank of gas yet, but I expect the mileage to be as advertised. Overall, I am tickled with my Accord. Honda has done a very nice job with the design. The Accord SE is a GREAT value for the money. |

I have researched to buy a new car for almost six months. There were few cars in the line to buy like 2006 Passat, Mazda etc, but this car over runs every one of them. For a middle class buyers this car holds the value for the longest duration and then there is HONDA to stand behind it for the quality and performance. I have till now driven @ 500 miles and have enjoyed every bit of it. Sales person's are great. |

It also gets great gas mileage, from about 25 in the city to 40 on the highway, to 35 on the highway going at 85 miles an hour with the AC on. Make it cheaper! It's a honda, for crying out loud. And for the automatic transmission, you really should add a manumatic, so that lame people can shift. I happen to own a manual honda civic, and its a ton of fun to drive. so, just add an autostick feature, and maybe cut prices by 2-3 thousand 2006 Honda Accord Review:

The body style beats the '05 in the rear. The interior especially at night makes it a very cool and sleek feel. Gas is very good, I drove about 2000 miles in the last two weeks since my purchase and I dont remember filling up as much as I did with my previous car. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Honda Accord?

I was in need to get a new car and I had made my decision on the Corolla. I tried Hundai, used Lexus, Toyota, Mazda and I decided to visit a Honda dealer and figured for a couple thousand more I could buy a much better car. You can feel a difference from your normal car and the Accord. If you don't mind flipping your rear view mirror at night time, you will save a lot of money for the exact same car. |
